  Re: New Ship: Harlequin

Hey Kev, Good luck with the new college term. The ship is cool, but what I'm really digging are (URL) these microscale buildings>. I hope you get a chance soon to work on those. Bruce (21 years ago, 11-Sep-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Speed Computer

I was just wondering if anyone has one of these speed computers (URL). Also, if you have one, is it worth the US$20.00 that is asked for it? I am considering getting one, but was told several years ago by a friend that it was a waste of money. (...) (21 years ago, 11-Sep-05, to lugnet.robotics)

Yesterday, we had another meeting at Tim's place. Lots of fun, here's some highlights: (2 URLs) Seeing the new vikings sets. (2 URLs) Paul's latest space ships, and other goodies.   Re: Mana Cat

Thanks guys, I wanted to say, I have been avoiding LUGNET, but I'm glad I came here to read these two nice replies. There are others who only come out when there is something nasty to say. I also wanted to mention that I have been certified as an (...) (21 years ago, 11-Sep-05, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics, lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) And the broken RCX's .... And the snapped technic beams.... And the chipped battery boxes.... (oh the destruction, oh the laughter).... Hmmm and maybe one of Rob's head when he took the beam to the head. Janey "Red Brick" (21 years ago, 11-Sep-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Three street corners (work in progress)

  New Ship: Harlequin

Well, seeing at the Lenny has already spotlighted this on the .Space sidebar, I figure I better announce it properly. This is, most likely, my last creation before I leave for college. (I leave wednesday afternoon for the University of Cincinnati, (...) (21 years ago, 11-Sep-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX) !

  Re: F40PH-2 MOC

I like the general feel of this MOC, I think you have got most of the prototye details right. I like your truck design, I hope it works out in the ABS. I don't know if it would be possible but I think the oval cab door window could do with being a (...) (21 years ago, 11-Sep-05, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Scrapers

(...) Thank you all for the pics. The one Rosco sent was the type I was looking for. There are 2 types that I can see. One has a hollow tub in the middle and collects the dirt. The other is basically the same thing but with tread-mill-type blades in (...) (21 years ago, 11-Sep-05, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Who built Solomon's Temple at Brickfest 2005?

(...) The Holy-of-Holies is done entirely with (URL) gold 1x2 tiles> and the (URL) tile modified with a ball>. The anniversary bricks are actually not that shiny. They have more of a duly gold color with little sparkly bits. Mike Crowley took a (...) (21 years ago, 11-Sep-05, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Re: rtl 19 'Sumo on a stick' pictures

(...) Sure, I agree that everything there was a valid entry (maybe not a valid "robot" by my definition of "robot," but we can argue that endlessly), but are the competitions about building an interesting and clever robot, or scanning the rules for (...)   Analfapet

(21 years ago, 11-Sep-05, to lugnet.loc.se)

  Re: Min kulbana

(21 years ago, 11-Sep-05, to lugnet.loc.se)

  BoP - OMG the carnige.

What a FANTASTIC day I've had a LOT of great time at all of past rtl Games. but this one was "fun" i cant say i have ever seen such carnage. it was GREAT!!! if i had to do it all over again, i wouldn't change a thing.   Re: rtl 19 'Sumo on a stick' pictures

(...) ya know.... a SIZE limit would have stopped the 5' tower bots. ~BUT~ it was MR. NO SHOW Iain, who asked for this. For what its worth.... all the types of robots were valid entries under the current rules. that means.. the GRAVITY bots, the (...) (21 years ago, 11-Sep-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: rtl 19 'Sumo on a stick' pictures

(...) Or how about: 1. No part of your robot may touch the floor at the BEGINING of the contest. 2. At least one powered motor must be used. Both these rules would prevent my dad from building me a big solid tower that just hold my end up. -Greg (21 years ago, 11-Sep-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
