(...) LOL!!! (Does a little dance!!!!) JLUG bots kick some fine heinie!!! YAY!!!! Actually, beating Chris, 2 out of 3 times (once in pre-game trials), and beating Dave 3 times really made my day! (...) Uh, yeah :) (URL) also sheared a half pin which I used to mount the RCX up there. (...) Dunno, I lost firmware about three times. Two times it reloaded fine, I haven't tried it after the last time I went up against Chris for the hell of it. (...) (21 years ago, 11-Sep-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Space Slug Fighter

(...) You know whereof you speak. I'm glad you attempted and succeeded with this one. The concept comes across very clearly in the final product. Plus, you shame us all in your thoroughness in showing us your building process. Keep setting a fine (...) (21 years ago, 11-Sep-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Space Tanker

Well, Dan I have to say "Wow!". Fortunately I do have more to say. I've taken some time to assimilate this one, and I see it as pure music. There are too many excellent details to speak of, all worthy of borrowing. It's the way they work together to (...) (21 years ago, 11-Sep-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: New MOC: Armored Ambulance

Awesome stuff Soren! I'll go through it one by one. Ambulance You really have some gift for designing ground vehicles. I like the colour scheme, the parts usage, and the whole anime inspired look. Great job. One question though, how did you do the (...) (21 years ago, 11-Sep-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: holding down that 9V switch

(...) Odd isn't it. I had made a scheme that used the cam shaped pieces to operate those buttons, and it is indeed very important to get just the right amount of depression to make the buttons work right. JB (21 years ago, 11-Sep-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

rtl 19 Official Score (in which Dave didn't win but still kicked Chris's heinie)

Well, in a surprising upset, a complete newbie to the LEGO robot building and entering in an rtl competition (that I remember--I could be wrong...) Harry A, Rob A>'s son, won the compeitition with his non-motorized tower 'bot. So here's the (...) (21 years ago, 10-Sep-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: self-propagating RCX program

(...) So the "raw materials" it's using are pre-built quarter-robot sub-assemblies and they connect together using magnets. It's not quite the impressive thing we've been thinking about. ---...--- Steve Baker ---...--- HomeEmail: (...) (21 years ago, 11-Sep-05, to lugnet.robotics)
