Re: MLCAD mirrored submodels - Help please

(...) Hi Torben, To mirror you need to edit the rotation matrix by hand. It is easiest to do if you have only rotated in 90 degree angles in which case you just put a negative sign in front of one of the entries and that mirrors along that axis. (...)   Re: Brickfest Pneumatic Master and new Pneumatic Gate Circuits

(...) I mechanically link the two pistons together so they act as though they were one larger piston, also I mechanically link the four switches. This eliminates any issue with racing between the two pistons and their switches. Could you explain in (...) (20 years ago, 24-Aug-05, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Lego Train Factory - "preliminary wagon design"

(...) Wow, I hope they brew up a better motor unit. The current one did not have to be designed to be efficient like the technic gear motor shipped with the RIS sets. It relies on endless juice from the controller. I think if they just use the (...) (20 years ago, 24-Aug-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: A LEGO double-throw switch?

(...) The following design will turn a polarity switch into a two-way splitter. (URL) That is, the switch controls whether the input will go to the left output or the right. Use two of these, one at each ends of the conveyor belt, to make a (...) (20 years ago, 24-Aug-05, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Telehandler finally completed

(...) Thanks for the kind words Vineet! What I meant was; before the boom only elevated to about 35 degrees. The real ones go past 45 degrees. It was a good design that needed improvement. I think it is lighter now too. One good tip I got at (...) (20 years ago, 24-Aug-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Announcing Bricksmith for Macintosh

(...) Well that just sucks. They don't want too many people using LDraw, I guess? Because many users simply won't jump through that many hoops to get started. They'll download a CAD program, double-click it, see scary messages about LDraw not being (...) (20 years ago, 24-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac, FTX)

Re: MLCAD mirrored submodels - Help please

(...) Thanks Niels - you're absolutely right. Inserting the submodel higher up and moving it down sorts it. Plus new things underneath are sorted as well. However, I'd be very grateful to know how to mirror, if you could please. In this case (...) (20 years ago, 24-Aug-05, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Re: BrickSpace now available for download.

(...) I'll have to try it on my home PC when I get a copy of the game (I'm bidding on a used copy on eBay right now). My PC is something like a 1.3 Ghz Athlon, with an older GeForce card (AGP 2x) and 256 MB of ram. I'll let you know how it plays on (...) (20 years ago, 24-Aug-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Hello, I've made a CAD model of Dash 9 in BNSF livery. It's 48 stud long and contains approx. 550 parts.   Re: LDD Help Needed
