  Re: Darth Maul

(...) Hey, thanks for the comments! I hadn't before considered that, but I'll see if I have anything read lying around here... ;) Daniel (20 years ago, 23-Aug-05, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.technic.bionicle, FTX)

  New LEGO RoboCam'Bot

Not nearly as unique as the internet controlled RoboCam stacking 'bot, but eh, whatever See it here-- (URL) relabel soon, but JavaCam Push is for Internet Explorer users, and Server Push is for basically everyone else but IE. If neither of those (...) (20 years ago, 23-Aug-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.robotics)

  Money Truck

On Friday my son saw a "money truck" as he now calls them. He asked me to "help" him build one... which quickly turned into him playing while I built. He wasn't concerned with how it turned out as long as it looked tough and had shocks. But in the (...) (20 years ago, 23-Aug-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: 1st posted MOC: Future City

I left you a review on MOCPages, but had to leave you some kudos here as well. Amazing build. -Keith (20 years ago, 23-Aug-05, to lugnet.build.microscale)

Re: Announcing the first BrickJournal Contest...

Sounds like a great contest Joe, my only complaint is the 500 word minimum. Some of us only get rolling at 500. -Keith (20 years ago, 23-Aug-05, to lugnet.publish.brickjournal, FTX)

Re: I just have to say I am impressed...

C'mon, now do the song ehh? ehh? Da da da da dun da da dun da da, (and so on in increasing intensity, hold it, hold it, add passing turbo lase sounds, yes yes the occasional Tie-Fighter,....) "I want those plans...." Congrats on your purchase and (...) (20 years ago, 23-Aug-05, to lugnet.general)

  Legway

If you haven't heard of Legway, I highly recommend checking it out at www.teamhassenplug.org ...Steve came up with a very cool robot a while back that stands up and balances on two-wheels. I am happy to say that I was able to make Legway work for (...) (20 years ago, 23-Aug-05, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: A LEGO double-throw switch?

(...) Brian - Since I am a spark head...let me just say....this would be interesting. Presumably, you are moving a polarity switch from one "on" position to the next when you hit it...because going to an "off" position would disable the system. (...) (20 years ago, 23-Aug-05, to lugnet.robotics)

  Chris...

Could you remove me from the TexLUG-SA mailing list please. I don't know of any other way to contact you. Your blog does not list contact info. Thanks. Pat (20 years ago, 23-Aug-05, to lugnet.org.us.texlug)

Re: The Great Ball Contraption at BrickFest

(...) "Terrific" is a pretty general response...I would add the following: 1) GBC exceeded all of our expectations as we prepared for Brickfest 2) The room was NOT large enough to accomodate the GBC or the crowd 3) I watched as many kids were simply (...)   Re: A LEGO double-throw switch?

(...) No, because it's only wrong half the time. HOWEVER, now that I think about it, you could mechanically connect two polarity switches together at the end with the motor. Then, instead of connecting one wire from each of the polarity switches to (...) (20 years ago, 22-Aug-05, to lugnet.robotics)

  Second fair themed vignette

Hi everybody. Here is the second vignette I make. It's also the second vignette with a fun fair theme. It's a shooting stand. Here's the gallery: (URL) Notice the picture that highlight the baby T-rex I used as a plushie prize. What do you think of (...) (20 years ago, 22-Aug-05, to lugnet.build.vignette)

  Re: Who is this?

  Re: A LEGO double-throw switch?

(...) I agree the simplest solution is to use a single switch with one linkage operated by the forklift to switch it on, and another linkage operated by the falling crate, that switches it back off, ready for the forklift. ROSCO (20 years ago, 22-Aug-05, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: A LEGO double-throw switch?

(...) Since turning the 9V wire connectors 90 degrees reverse the polarity, can't you play with how the wires are connected to the switches to re-reverse the polarity on one wire? (...) -Kyle (20 years ago, 22-Aug-05, to lugnet.robotics)
