I'm in charge of the Brick Bazaar at NWBrickCon again this year, and it is comming up fast! This year NWBrickCon will be held October 7th-9th at the Seattle Center. The Brick Bazaar will be a much better location this year (the Olympic Room) than (...)   Re: BrickSpace now available for download.

Yes, I know, double posting yada yada. :D Well partially to bump the first post, but also, I've put up some vids, for people who don't have Homeworld but want to see what it looks like when Lego ships are able to blow things up (no "pshoo pshoo" (...)   Re: Brickfest Pneumatic Master and new Pneumatic Gate Circuits

(...) (SNIP) Oops! I forgot to post the jpg links rather than the item links, since it's a while since I posted stuff! That's what comes of doing too many exhibitions! The AND etc... gates are dual no-leak bidirectional gates that perform the (...) (20 years ago, 18-Aug-05, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.events.brickfest)

Re: Flex tube (was: Brickfest Pneumatic Master ...)

(...) I've seen the white "Plastruct" tubing at model railway shows and in hobby shops, but it costs 35p for about 12", which is too short and too expensive (considering my 5.5p/piece average Lego price, including railway stuff), even when bought in (...)   Re: I am not a nazi.

(...) I would agree. I was VERY disappointed at the pelting Richie got. But then again, I know that Richie is a great pirate builder and was reminded here. As a result, I asked him to write up an article on his ships in BrickJournal. Because he's a (...) (20 years ago, 18-Aug-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.people, lugnet.off-topic.debate)

  My Thank You's (long)

This is my list of friends who I'd like to thank for making my trip to BrickFest a joy again this year. This is not a complete list and there are no favorites. If you didn't make the list, dummy me either forgot to add you or forgot your name (...) (20 years ago, 18-Aug-05, to lugnet.events.brickfest) !

  Re: Finally...

What a triumph! There is so much to look at here. Excellent Build! (still looking) Wow, very very well done, LOOK at that tree and landscape. Terrific. e (20 years ago, 18-Aug-05, to lugnet.castle)

Re: EMD F7 Mt. Newman Mining Company

(...) Hi Beat, While I don't have any pictures if you search for Peter Parsons in .loc.au you might ask him. He actually works for the Qld state railway and has a great deal of knowledge. And I agree that the Ghan needs cars. They may yet come... (...) (20 years ago, 18-Aug-05, to lugnet.trains)

Re: EMD F7 Mt. Newman Mining Company

(...) Beat, great work, you entered "trains" with a splash. You also picked an engine I really like, the F3/F7s. I'm reworking the design for the Super Cheif, and hope to post it soon. Adding detail and a recolor as well. Mat (20 years ago, 18-Aug-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: All plastic track

(...) Actually, hacking the rails to electrically insulate the track only requires sandwiching a tiny slip of paper in between the two sections you want isolated from each other. Tear away the excess, and mark the spot with a red plate (so you can (...) (20 years ago, 18-Aug-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: Parts for building from MOC instructions

(...) Hmm. Nice as that MOC is, your best bet is probably to pick up the Metroliner set for $150 from SAH: (URL) you have the Metroliner, modifying it to the engine style you want should be a good exercise in creativity for you and your son. To try (...) (20 years ago, 18-Aug-05, to lugnet.trains)

Re: A Rootin' Tootin' High-falootin' MOC

Re: Parts for building from MOC instructions

(...) Pat, Have you tried LEGO factory? (URL) It has a limeted pallette of parts/colors, and the editor is a bit primative. But it's suppossed to be upgrading to an actua partl ordering sytem at the end of the month. With a train specific upgrade (...) (20 years ago, 18-Aug-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: Where do we go from here...

(...) No. But the original thing (upon which it's based) assembed something that did generate about 160,000,000 horsepower. Derek ;-) (20 years ago, 18-Aug-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.loc.ca.on)

Re: The Wing - a Moonbase Module

That's a trip! The um, corridor moves, that took me a sec...um, several. The over head shot looks like it is a ship docked to a corridor. Nifty! Heh, so you had to "last minute adjust" the height of the whole module to make it 10 bricks tall... I (...) (20 years ago, 18-Aug-05, to lugnet.space)

Re: Mini No. 66: Solar Sailer!

(...) Awesome! I love it. Dooku's solar sailers is one of my favorite Star Was ships, and I wish more of it appeared in the films. Your use of the Blacktron canopies as the sails is excellent! Blogged! (URL) :D -- Nathan Wells (20 years ago, 18-Aug-05, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

  Re: All plastic track

(...) I'll second every thing John said above. I've already built a couple of small RC train projects. And I can't wait to hack the new system as well. I also apluad the idea of cheaper train sets (plastic track), as I already have a ton of curved (...) (20 years ago, 18-Aug-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: Shadow : scout mech

I looked at all your pictures! I read all the tech docs! I like it I like it! Welcome!   The Wing - a Moonbase Module

Hi all, May I present "The Wing" - a Moonbase Module. (URL) is small, but has a moving corridor (somewhat inspired by the "viagra" module :-) This module can be placed on a side of the Moonbase that has one exit/entrance corridor or it can be used (...) (20 years ago, 18-Aug-05, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Motorcycle Mosaic

Bill, I thought this was sooooo cool. I clicked on it right away when I saw it on Brickshelf. I like the way it looks and the impression the mosaic design gives when you look at parts like the engine and even the front headlight with the white (...)
