Re: Darn those definitions -- ENDED

Well, here is my view point, lego has pneumatics AND now hydrolics. If lego were to have one or the other, I wouldn't really have a problem. But once again, I will revert to their shop at home catalog were they SHOW some glittery "stuff" in the (...) (25 years ago, 6-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)

I have sent out the directions to my house to those on the NELUG mailing list. If you did not get this E-mail or would like to come but have not sighed up yet just send me an E-mail and I will get the directions along with my phone # right out to (...) <HUGE SNIP, WE'RE TALKING 5 FOOT SCISSORS SNIP> OK!! My original post was simply to say that calling it hydraulic is not "false advertisement". Maybe misleading advertisement (isn't that redundant?), but technically not false. I'll admit, I'm (...) (25 years ago, 6-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Letter (was Re: Bulk Ordering - Secrets Revealed.)

The popularity of AucZILLA (1) could be also be mentioned. Although, LEGO already is aware of that. The following is part of the FAQ of AucZILLA: Q: Aren't you worried that LEGO might find out what you're doing? A: No, not at all. They already know, (...)   Re: Bulk Ordering - Secrets Revealed.

Arjan, Don't be upset or anything, I have been collecting sets since I was 4, everyone has different money conditions, situations, and the like. I really have never had a Dark Age, like most AFOL'S have. I am strange as it is, so it fits me. :) I (...) (25 years ago, 6-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

(...) <snip of reconciliatory pleas & the letter> Gary- That is a terrific letter. I think the idea of having us all sign, including the sizes of our collections is a great idea. We could inundate the poor fellow with mail, but ultimately I think (...) (25 years ago, 6-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

(...) Really? As a highly knowledgeable (and obviously modest!) computer user, I _never_ call tech support. And when I ran an ISP several years ago, most of the calls from people who knew what they were doing were a joy to deal with compared to the (...) (25 years ago, 6-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)

Gary, I think this letter is excellent. I have a few suggestions for minor chenges you might consider: Gary Istok wrote: <snip> (...) The internet was in existence 12 years ago, although not the www. How about saying something like, "Thanks to the (...) (25 years ago, 6-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

(...) Bad support is bad support - I'd tend to think that an irate parent of a 8-12 yo would make more bad press than an irate 34 yo - after all, as adults, we *can* got get a Handi-board if we really want a powerful CPU.
