  Re: Motorized WWII Style Tank

(...) I thought I should post a little more about this MOC. Each tread is individually powered (no adder/subtracter - not enough room insided in this version) and has pseudo-suspension. The turret can rotate through a continuous 360 rotation - the (...) (21 years ago, 18-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.technic, FTX)

eBay Auction - Technic and Town Sets

Thought I would post a follow-up to my original message from June 28. As mentioned, I am auctioning off most of my Lego collection before I leave for college in the fall.   Re: Modified Transformers Question (Re was: Transformer Power)

(...) I believe the Lego transformers are 12v a/c output. I used 12v a/c output 3.3A transformers from Digikey, part number T605. You will have to add your own connector. They are quite expensive, but they don't heat up as much as the cheap ones do. (...) (21 years ago, 18-Jul-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: Modified Transformers Question (Re was: Transformer Power)

(...) The LM317 will need to "eat" more power if you supply a higher voltage and will thus kick in the thermal protection much sooner. I'd stay as close to the voltage the LEGO wallwart outputs as possible. (21 years ago, 18-Jul-05, to lugnet.trains)

Re: LSC - request for defining a WORKING connection database standard

(...) nod, yes. (...) Add to this the fact that to get a working connection-enabled tool, you need start with (or at least develop along the way) a working GUI-based editing tool. That really narrows the field of potential (...) (21 years ago, 18-Jul-05, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev.lcd, lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)
