  Re: Nestlé Honey Nut Cheerios

(...) What country was this observed ? This might be a market specific promotion. A quick google search revealed this one page describing a TV advert (possibly in the UK)... (URL) (21 years ago, 5-Jul-05, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Four new vignettes

(...) Hey Brendan, Thanks for the kind words. You're actually the first person to mention the face choices, which I thought was key to the whole scene. (...) Thanks. I can't say for sure that it's original at all. I've probably seen someone do (...) (21 years ago, 5-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

  Nestlé Honey Nut Cheerios

When I was at the local super market today I noticed that a Knight's kingdom figure was included in the Honey nut Cheerios cereals. I don't know if this is old news or not. I haven't seen the figures before and I found nothing on the topic with a (...) (21 years ago, 5-Jul-05, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Super Mario

(...) Thanks Anne, I always figured if I ever had a couple thousand bucks to throw around, I would buy the stand up arcade game of Donkey Kong. But between roommates that are not keen on turning the living room into an arcade and lack of extra (...) (21 years ago, 5-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.sculpture, FTX)

  Re: Super Mario

  Target clearances begin

Target has begun marking down a large variety of sets - Knights Kingdom, Harry Potter, DUPLO Castle, Spiderman, some Bionicle, older Star Wars, others. (...) This is a legitimate concern. I don't track (...) (21 years ago, 5-Jul-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  LEGO at $60 a barrel

The Southern California LEGO Train Club makes it's custom table system using white vinyl coated hardboard for the surfaces and 1.9 inch diameter black ABS pipe for the legs.   Re: Two new mechs from me: Cluncker and Powersuit

(...) I think the name Clunker suits the first one to a tee. It reminds me of the Asmiov Powell & Donovan story "Speedy" - they climb on the backs of two really old robots.
