  Vikings Soon at Shop-at-Home?

Was just browsing Lego Shop-at-Home and saw that they have a category "Vikings" with a new icon beside it. I happily clicked it but the link goes nowhere.... I'm guessing that this means Canada will have the ability to purchase Viking sets soon! (...) (21 years ago, 3-Jul-05, to lugnet.announce)

  Ahh, the old times...

Dear LEGO, When I was a kid, I remembered how LEGO toys were apart of a modular toy system. Town, for example, had a complementary set of vehicles and sets, focusing on emergency services (such as police, firemen, ambulance/hospital, etc) and on (...) (21 years ago, 3-Jul-05, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Hanging asteroids (was: Re: Announcing the great Asteroid MOC Contest!)

(snip stuff about hanging devices) I'll need to talk with Dan about the feasibility of using these things for hanging. Personally, I am a bit wary for the reasons Phil mentioned, but also the cost involved in man hours and money. Dan and I have a (...)   Re: New MOC: British Class 37 diesel loco with articulated bogies

(...) Hi Mark, I like your articulation trick and really like some of the side greebling. The drivers cab windscreen seems a little short to me though. It looks like the whole thing should extend one more stud towards the front (or rear) of the (...) (21 years ago, 2-Jul-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: LEGO Creator Show

(...) Not sure about WA, but it will be at Bendigo Toyworld (not sure dates) and Myer Melbourne from 1st Dec to mid-Jan. I will see if I can find other dates. ROSCO (21 years ago, 2-Jul-05, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: BrickFest Hosts the “Build the Trust” Adult LEGO Enthusiast’s Model Contest

(...) The architectural diagrams are extremely helpful. However, they beg the question is this competition strictly for exteriors or exteriors plus interiors? I'd been planning on doing just exteriors. Kelly (21 years ago, 2-Jul-05, to lugnet.events.brickfest, FTX)

  Re: 8421 first impressions

(...) Hi Gyl, one thing you could try is adding hoses to the unused cylinder outlets, and pushing lever handle partially in the end of the hose. I've found by adjusting how far the lever is up the hose you can partially block the hose, which would (...) (21 years ago, 2-Jul-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Super Mario

Hello! Just thought I'd post my latest creation, Mario from Nintendo's Super Mario Brothers! (URL) I have always been a fan of the little guy since the days of playing Donkey Kong at my local arcade in the early 80's (dang, I'm old). I actually have (...)   Re: 8421 first impressions

(...) I received mine Monday after ordering from Amazon.com. (Peeron RSS feeds rock!) I just completed it, and I pretty much agree with others' impressions here. The box is cool and huge, but I also didn't like having to tear it to open it. Like (...) (21 years ago, 2-Jul-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: *** MLCad V3.20 ***

(...) Thanks for all your work Michael. I especially like the names in the top corners. Tim (21 years ago, 2-Jul-05, to lugnet.cad.mlcad, lugnet.cad)

Re: 4881 Designer Set "Robo Platoon"

I love this set for the great parts selection. There's only a little blay, and it has the new 1x1 tooth piece in blue and red! Dave S. "Patrick McFarland" <pmcfarland@downeast.net> wrote in message news:IIz0sp.J3o@lugnet.com... (...) (21 years ago, 2-Jul-05, to lugnet.general)

Re: One week 'til Yateley Fest 2005

(...) Despite low turnout, it went well. David (21 years ago, 2-Jul-05, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: *** MLCad V3.20 ***

(...) You're awesome! I love the grid ganularity hotkeys (I had to ResHack these in before) and the axis labels on the view windows, -Orion (21 years ago, 2-Jul-05, to lugnet.cad.mlcad, lugnet.cad)

  Looking for a Building

Hello all, I hope this post is okay to go here. I came across what has to be one of my favorites builds a while back, and I can't seem to find it now. I believe it was on Brickshelf, but I'm not positive. The pictures I remember were of what looked (...) (21 years ago, 2-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.arch)

New MOC: British Class 37 diesel loco with articulated bogies

Here's my latest 8mm scale train MOC, a British Class 37 diesel loco in railfreight grey livery with red stripe, as carried by 37674 and others in 1988. (URL) The model has opening doors and removable roof sections, for closing the doors and putting (...)   *** MLCad V3.20 ***

Hi, finaly I had the time to release a new version of MLCad. It doesn't come with a lot of new features, but I think nice once and some error corrections as well. You can find all the details in the release notes wich are in the zip - file. I guess (...) (21 years ago, 2-Jul-05, to lugnet.cad.mlcad, lugnet.cad) !

  Wal-Mart Star Wars clearance

My Wal-Mart has clearanced all remaining Lego Star Wars. (20-33% off) They got out of Harry Potter quickly last year, too, but are still selling Spider-Man. (21 years ago, 2-Jul-05, to lugnet.market.shopping)

  Re: Meridiani Planum Nuclear Facility

(...) Moon Zombies!? This is truly a frightening glimpse at a possible future. Where is "Dead Reckoning" when you need it? Well done, especially the curved building, I find the lack of interiors inspiring. This is madcap indeed. -Keith (21 years ago, 2-Jul-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)
