Re: New home for Brickshelf Scan Library

(...) AFAIK, Kevin has no plans to shut down the gallery - so I would say certainly keep them there. I think people forget that the best thing about hosting pictures on BS isn't the free hosting (which is still cool), but the fact that that's the (...)   Re: Three buildings (A.K.o.S. )

(...) Certainly, "quick and dirty" BFTB-s (buldings-for-the-background) can be built using the A.K.o.S. method. This was one of the goals. On the other hand, interior detailing is not impossible at all. I will add that to one of the buildings. I (...) (21 years ago, 19-Jun-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  It's coming (new hint daily)

Hi- SCLTC is up to something big. We will post a hint daily. You are invited to guess what we are doing. If, by chance, you know what we're doing, then it would not be a guess for you to respond here. Have fun! -Ted Michon SCLTC (21 years ago, 19-Jun-05, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.build, lugnet.trains, lugnet.trains.org.scltc, lugnet.loc.us.ca, lugnet.town, FTX) !

  Re: Chess Vignettes

(...) Ok, I thought the King and his companion were in their starting possitions...and It´s to often the King die without being moved. Nice combination with a great game and Lego. /Andréas Rootzén (21 years ago, 19-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

Re: My first Vig! Willy Wonka

Hey Bill, I love the hat/hair combo. Legofreak did (URL) something similar> in the CCCII contest. The mushroom and candy are good too, but my favorite detail is the use of brown clips as chocolate covered hands. Very cool vig. Bruce (21 years ago, 19-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, FTX)

Re: All Kinds of Structures (A.K.o.S.)

(...) I'll try my best! :-) BTW, You must show me what you built ;-) (...) Correct. Originally, I was going to leave a 2 stud setback on all four sides, but I decided that a firewall did not need to be 2 studs thick. One goal of this method is to (...) Ottimo lavoro Luca, e complimenti per l'organizzazione. Ti sei dimenticato solo una cosa: il GBC!!!   Re: Three buildings (A.K.o.S. )

(...) Cool. More buildings shows the flexibility of the system. I guess my biggest concern with it is that the interior arrangements are visible through the windows. I've been urging my local club members to work on more interior detailing so that (...) (21 years ago, 19-Jun-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Mindstorms storm runner game

Dear Lego, I really enjoyed this game on the mindstorms part of the Lego website. And although it is now a few years old, it is still a good game, and does get kids into programming. Could you fix it so it still works, and make sure the web inks (...) (21 years ago, 19-Jun-05, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: All Kinds of Structures (A.K.o.S.)

Hi, I tried to build one of these and had some difficulties. Maybe you can clarify them for me. It seems that the idea is not to leave 2 studs on every side, but only on the sides that are going to have facades. If I understand the AKOS system, the (...)   Playing with the idea of docking ports again ...

I was trying to come up with a docking port that was bigger and stronger than a Moonbase flange, but still compatable with it, and also allowed vertical connections and connections at n X 90 degree rotations. I used MLCAD to experiment with (...) (21 years ago, 19-Jun-05, to lugnet.space)

  Re: 8421 first impressions

Re: All Kinds of Structures (A.K.o.S.)

I've build two more A.K.o.S. buildings this weekend just to see if this concept would actually work in reality. I think they don't look that bad. (URL) Akos Kostyan LEGO Ambassador akos@malug.hu (21 years ago, 19-Jun-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Three buildings (A.K.o.S. )

I built two more buildings that adhere to the A.K.o.S standard I announced last week. ((URL)) So I have a total of three buildings now.
