Re: LEGO® is near an agreement to sell its LEGOLAND theme parks

In lugnet.mediawatch, Larry Pieniazek wrote: Snip (...) I think it could be extremely shrewd. The parks will always have to rely on the company for bricks and sets to sell. For example in Saint Louis, Anheuser-Busch used to own the baseball stadium (...) (21 years ago, 1-Jun-05, to lugnet.mediawatch, lugnet.legoland, FTX)

Re: New Build - DB 115 Multiped Tank

(...) Hi Jas, this is really a nice piece of work! (...) Sorry, I don't know the last one (but I'll have to seek for him!). The inspiration can easily been seen. You did a good job! You were inspired but you built your very own creation. (...) Hey (...) (21 years ago, 1-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Space! at BrickFest 2005

(...) Along with the thinness, we are also going to arrange modules so that tall ones are behind the short ones. The display is going to be ~3 modules wide, so it would work like Tall-Medium-Short. This should give equal viewing access to all of the (...) (21 years ago, 1-Jun-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.events.brickfest, FTX)

  BlueTooth bad, Zigbee good

(...) Bluetooth is actually very poor for embedded or robotic applications. It's a power hog, development tools are expensive (try $5000 minimum), true peer to peer modules are almost impossible to get unless you are a Fortune 500 company, and the (...)   Re: What's the status of LEGO 48x48 mosaics?

(...) I'm hoping it's just a changeover from old grays to new grays. The mosaics seemed rather popular at LLCA -- at least I often saw customers buying them. But then, its not unusual for TLC to do things that make no sense to us mortals... If (...) (21 years ago, 1-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.mosaic, FTX)

Re: Red SW III Jedi Starfighter?

Dave S. is likely right, but there is a red version of the starfighter coming out in a big battle pack, I believe (I'm pretty sure it was officially confirmed over at Fbtb or rebelscum). Also I saw on the back of the BrickMaster edition of this (...) (21 years ago, 1-Jun-05, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: .loc.se-sidan

(...) Tja... (21 years ago, 1-Jun-05, to lugnet.loc.se)

  Re: Nemesis4Lego controller

(...) Gabriel, please do keep working on this! It's exactly the sort of thing I've been looking for for years. I get frustrated with the high cost and hard limits of the RCX; it sounds like your units would be far superior in terms of entry cost and (...) (21 years ago, 1-Jun-05, to lugnet.robotics)
