  Re: Happy Birthday Disneyland!

(...) Man.... I guess I either have to repost this on July 17th or build something new between now and then! Disney must have picked May 4th as the start of their summer season more than the actual date of the aniversary. Summer long celebration (...) (21 years ago, 7-May-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: 8 Wide LEGO Thomas! (pics)

(...) Yes, but how much clearance does one need? These ties are simply 1x4 tiles on the LEGO ties. If you need more clearance that, you also probably need more time at the design table;-) Out of curiousity, to what "other stuff" might you be (...)   Re: MOC: Spaceport Moonbase

(...) <snip> Felix, your versatility is amazing. The spaceport looks awesome, I'm sure people will love it at HoB. Thanks for sharing it! Cyndi (21 years ago, 7-May-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Vampire Bat

(...) I like it. The black canopy has a cool shape. And the greebling is over the top. The last couple of pics show landing gear deployed, right? Looks like it would be capable of landing on a prepared pad (or in a mothership's hangar), but not on (...) (21 years ago, 7-May-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Vampire Bat

(...) A really excellent piece of work. I can see a lot of greeblage, so much going on there that I can't even quite tell how everything fits together. The chrome is a good choice. People should really start using more chrome in their MOCs. You (...) (21 years ago, 7-May-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Recycling Train

In lugnet.trains, James Mathis wrote: (SNIPPED) I must say this is a really cute MOC. More than the train itself I like the truck :-) Were you in any way inspired by the 4559 while doing this? It too has that modular setup with the truck able to (...) (21 years ago, 7-May-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: Helmet Old with Thin vs. Thick Chinstrap

(...) snip details (...) More likely, if I remember right, the inventory data was never re-verified for correct thin/thick versions of the part. (Again, IIRC) When the Peeron data were recorded, no one was paying attention the thick/thin variation (...) (21 years ago, 7-May-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.db.inv, FTX)

Re: Does Lugnet have a parts "Wish List" page?

(...) Good idea. If someone woulk like to make a page with that info, I'd be happy to add it to the sidebar of .parts. Rob (21 years ago, 7-May-05, to lugnet.parts)

  3755 Brown roof bricks...old brown?

Hi all, Could someone please tell me if the 3755 brown roof bricks is still old brown?... I am thinking it is because they haven't changed the set #, but there is no '2003 colour scheme' warning... Thanks and God Bless, Nathan (21 years ago, 7-May-05, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Quick trip home

Well, I’m back. Aside from annoyances by United Airlines (delays, missing connections, and broken airplanes), things went very smoothly. I had a good time being back in Boston (understatement). Here’s the list of goals I made before I left. All but (...) (21 years ago, 7-May-05, to lugnet.people) !

Helmet Old with Thin vs. Thick Chinstrap

I have a really interesting question about those two parts in black: (URL) > and (URL) > Peeron and BrickLink say that the thin version comes from many sets like 6971-1 - Intergalactic Command Base (1984) 6891-1 - Gamma-V Laser Craft (1985) 6985-1 - (...) wow, Wow, WOW. (URL) did a quick search on Lugnet and don't see any likely name matches to the Brickshelf gallery owner. Anyone who likes US Navy jets should browse on over. Ralph, if you are out there, great job. (21 years ago, 7-May-05, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Tank, military

(...) Marc, I like it. You might consider beefing up the rollers for the treads. The spacing seems a little far in between them and from the following picture link, you should be able to increase the roller diameter until it touches the bottom of (...)
