  LEGO Shop Bluewater (LSB) - opening report
 
I got to the shop just before its 1:00pm opening yesterday. An 8' tall Bat Lord was wandering around in the mall, while a number of shop assistants were enticing the young (and not so young) with LEGO bricks imprinted with "August 1999" - not (...) (25 years ago, 3-Aug-99, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Part ID.. Help!
 
I just found a part in a lot of Lego, and I cannot find a reference to it anywhere. It is a "gearbox" that is black, and is the size of two 2x4 bricks stacked. In one end (the 2-lug end), is a cross axle which turns a black spur gear (8 tooth). On (...) (25 years ago, 3-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)
