| (...) Actually, I tend to think that it was more along the lines of the original 1950 plan- try everyting, and see what works and what doesn't work. Just because the FT was great in NA did not mean that it was going to be the best way to dieselize (...) (21 years ago, 22-Apr-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

| (...) thank you mark, you cleared it. Only one entry. Well, so I've to staple my might be entry pics until June 15th to have at least one day to review those hundreds of fantastic new pics and select my entry for the categories. *LOL* - just (...) | | | | | Re: If you could wish for any single Lego element, what would it be?
|
| (...) Nice diagrams Jason (and fellow Michiganian)! I mentioned a 1x6x2 Gothic arch, but I guess it would be too narrow in the middle, a 1x6x3 arch makes much more sense. Maybe even a 1x5x5 half Gothic arch would be nice. One other thing about (...) (21 years ago, 22-Apr-05, to lugnet.parts, FTX)
| | | | | Re: Bricksaic and txt2dat?

| (...) OK so a quick search reveals that (URL) autotrace> exports (URL) several different file formats>, none of which I know very much about. Does anyone else have any info? Note: txt2dat relies on the vector data being a series of closed contours. (...) (21 years ago, 22-Apr-05, to lugnet.cad.dev, FTX)

| (...) Happy to investigate autotrace input, if someone can point me to a spec, or even better some code to parse it ;) Some test data would be useful too... ROSCO (21 years ago, 22-Apr-05, to lugnet.cad.dev, FTX)
| | | | | Re: Does it exist?

| (...) Sure (URL) actually a bit taller than 2/3 brick height, because of that funky rim on the top, but if you were to slice that whole end with the rim off it would be 1x1x2/3 (ignoring that stud on the side). Not a basic brick, but I have several (...) (21 years ago, 22-Apr-05, to lugnet.parts, FTX)

|
| (...) Hey. You know the bricksaic interface is also a really nice fit for a program to reproduce patterned bricks in ldraw. I gave it a whirl posterizing the only pattern I had a scan of and it did a fairly nice job. (URL) You could use a few paint (...) | (...) You could try (URL). It's basically Pictionary with LEGO pieces. Depending on your son's age, some of the things you're supposed to be illustrating might be a little difficult, and the piece count is pretty limited (less than 100, IIRC). I (...) | (...) I have a game using Lego set #6436 (and/or 6498), I downloaded the instructions and ordered the parts to make a dozen. I call it 'Go-Kart Racing'. It is played on Road Base Plates. Here is a link to pics on my Brickshelf pages: (URL) can make (...) (21 years ago, 21-Apr-05, to lugnet.gaming)
