(...) (snip) (...) Yes, because the decoders are not limited to a N scale engine. If the 1A current is too limiting, the HO scale decoders are always a possibility for a external mounted decoder.   Re: Announcing BrickFest 2005

  Re: Ships' Boats

(...) These are really nice boats, Richie. I haven't been on Lugnet in a while - I hope you come out with those construction pics soon - I still have difficulty seeing that SNOT construction. I'll have to make some of my own soon, too! Aaron :) (21 years ago, 16-Apr-05, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.boats, FTX)

Re: Lego company survey now on LegoFan.org

(...) I wondered that as well. At first I thought they ment a micro-scale theme, like the LEGO factory contest, but then I saw that they also included megablocks, and remembered that Nano was a clone brand. I wanted more nuance to those questions (...) (21 years ago, 16-Apr-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  weirdness

I found the questionnaire to be odd all around--questions unclear, multiple answers in one set, multiple questions asked different ways. This is a badly designed survey, quite honestly. (21 years ago, 16-Apr-05, to lugnet.general)

Re: Directly connecting a digital camera module to the RCX

(...) You could probably succeed in doing that - but why? The RCX doesn't have enough memory to load even a single photo and it's teeny-tiny 8 bit CPU will take an ETERNITY to process whatever it can get at. Unless you have a very strange (...) (21 years ago, 16-Apr-05, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Lego company survey now on LegoFan.org

A few comments on the survey: A couple of questions seemed like trick ones to see if you are really an AFOL - like which themes are part of TLC, and which ranges would you recommend to an 8-year old boy's parents. I hope no-one recommended Clickits (...) (21 years ago, 16-Apr-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: New Poll: Did you complete the TLC questionaire?

Good idea, though this poll won't be entirly accurate. I've alerted CCers to the LEGOfan survey: (URL) And not all of them are members of LUGNET, so they can't vote in this poll. Still, it will be interesting to see the results. -- Nathan Wells (21 years ago, 15-Apr-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: New Poll: Did you complete the TLC questionaire?

Is there a suggestion in there somewhere? If so, you know where (...) (21 years ago, 15-Apr-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: New Poll: Did you complete the TLC questionaire?

(...) You forgot the "This poll is flawed" option ;) What if I vote nope before I take the TLC survey, then I can't go back and change my (now incorrect) vote :D ROSCO (21 years ago, 15-Apr-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)
