  Re: WTB Train Parts

(...) Speaking of which, Gary.... :) I met Mark K. over the weekend, we traded some cash and some (well, all) of his space sets and we were talking about it. Scott Sanburn (25 years ago, 2-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Need to know what parts this has!

(URL) was woundering if the bottem of the tank on this truck is a 6x8 peice that would resemble an airplane underbelly but 6 studs wide instead of 4. Any help would be great thanks. Dave (25 years ago, 2-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

(...) I don't have a Mindstorms creation currently built, but I have been wanting to make a bipedal walker that could turn (and judging from lugnet.robotics I'm not the only one), this would give me a reason to work on it over the next two weeks. Whew!!! This whole thread has left me spent and exhausted. I'm glad its over, and I'm glad you guys settled this amicably. I like both of you, and certainly don't like to see bad blood over Lego. For a moment there I thought I was on RTL witnessing (...) (25 years ago, 2-Aug-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  Re: Can we say, "Plagiarism"?

(...) So, does this mean that your model now belongs to them? Oh, and they won't give it back. :) Mostly kidding, Ben Roller P.S. I tend to agree that misdirected entry means something near "lost in the mail", but who knows. (25 years ago, 2-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

(...) Certainly! I would be happy if you could. It's a bit difficult for me to describe, since I don't know English that well, but let's try: I've modeled the centre of the wheel 2994 basically as a disc with an axle hole in the centre and six 8 LDU (...)   Re: Stray pieces seeking home

Eric, It looks like you have some Lego that goes as far back as the 1960's. The 4x4 yellow corner brick was an 1960's item that has been discontinued for over 30 years. The 1x6 & 1x8 white signs are probably from a European parts pack (it may be (...) (25 years ago, 2-Aug-99, to lugnet.general)

It's not widely available, but when I asked this morning, S@H had a decent supply of them, they came in not too long ago. Now I gotta sell off a 5571 so that I can buy an 8448 (unless of course someone is willing to trade me an 8448 for a 5571). (...) (25 years ago, 2-Aug-99, to lugnet.build)

(...) Impressive design. I sure do wish TLG would make more trans-red parts like those antena's. Trans-yellow canopies would be nice to.
