  Re: Alternate connectors

(...) I've done some more digging and asking around... Seems what I was looking for is referred to as a hermaphroditic connector. One big maker is Anderson, who make an extremely overrated (voltage and current) connector called the Powerpole (URL) (...) (21 years ago, 12-Apr-05, to lugnet.robotics)

  200esimo set

Capisco che non può fregare niente a nessuno ma è con grande gioia che raggiungo quota 200 come n° di set. Il 200° è proprio il 9747 acquistato a Billund domenica... mitico :-) (URL) a tutti ! Dino (21 years ago, 12-Apr-05, to lugnet.org.it.itlug)

  vignette meeting?

Hey IndyLUGgers, I put up a (URL) blog entry on your last meeting> based on Brian's Brickshelf pics. Is there a meeting report or anything like that someplace? If so let me know and I'll edit my blog entry to link to it. Thanks, Bruce (21 years ago, 12-Apr-05, to lugnet.org.us.indylug, FTX)

  vignette contest?

Hey Michiganders (Michigandians? Michians? Michelin men?), In this (URL) Brickshelf gallery>, cjdoyle implies that MichLUG is having a vignette contest. Is this true?   Re: Question from a vig newbie

Hey Dave, Welcome to .build.vignette! Glad you're enjoying it here. Joe is that way by design. He's the brainchild of Nelson and Nathan, two of the most prolific Vig-heads and the curators of .build.vignette. They announced the idea in (URL) this (...)   Question from a vig newbie

Holy moley, I haven't laughed so hard at MOC's in years. Every vignette I've seen has been delightfully clever and wonderfully self-contained. One question, though: Part of the point of the "Joe Vig" series of vignettes seems to be that poor Joe (...) (21 years ago, 12-Apr-05, to lugnet.build.vignette)

  Compact dozer design

This is an amazingly small and detailed design. The only question is- why did they not use 2 pistons to turn the blade? (URL) (21 years ago, 12-Apr-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Joe Vig meets Far Side

For my first Joe Vig vignette, we take a trip to the Far Side. You may remember the Far Side cartoon where the spiders have a web across a playground slide and one of them is saying "If this works, we'll eat like kings." (URL) Incidentally, this is (...)   Re: L3P Options?

(...) Yep. -p Don't substitute any primitives in the P directory with POV equivalents ---...--- In order to have a nicer looking image some parts (primitives) in the P directory are by default substituted with POV equivalents. E.g. 4-4cyli.dat is (...) (21 years ago, 12-Apr-05, to lugnet.cad.ray)
