 | | Packing MOCs for Shipment - Suggestions?
|
|
In preparation for the upcoming HOB event, I am becoming more and more concerned with how to transport my MOCs safely either as checked airline baggage or by over-nighting via a shipping company. I have found some helpful information by searching (...) (21 years ago, 4-Apr-05, to lugnet.storage, lugnet.events, FTX)

(...) A six wide car should be more than enough space to use that boardmount camera. The power supply's just a 9V battery, right? (...) | | Good news

I know you guys will love this. I took my latest Connect-Four robot (Stick) to the RoboGames in San Francisco last weekend. It was a big hit, playing almost 300 games (it lost 7, tied 2). Does anyone out there get GSN (formerly the Game Show Network)? I was out at Robogames last weekend, and they interviewed me, and did a small segment on me and my robots. I looked at their schedule, but didn't see any place it would fit (mostly old (...) (21 years ago, 4-Apr-05, to lugnet.mediawatch)

(...) Kurt, It seems like just a few weeks ago I was wondering why I couldn't find any good MOCs of Civil War era (and later) ironclads, and voila, you post one. This is great, I'd like to see it in person. Thanks, George (21 years ago, 4-Apr-05, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.build.military, FTX)

Slower, you say? Are you executing the functions in immediate mode? Or using a display list? Because if you're not using a display list, it's no suprise that it's slower. If you are using a display list, however, then I'm at a loss. I guess it may (...) (21 years ago, 4-Apr-05, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) Yeap, black was not released locally (thou is now $4 on S@H), yellow was the most popular, and sold a lot better than any of the others. Hence stores are strugling to sell the rest (blue being the least popular) Aaron A (21 years ago, 4-Apr-05, to lugnet.loc.au)
