  caster wheel design

Hi, I´m tring to build a robot that may use a caster wheel, But i am running some serious problemes in it design. If I use an axle or pin for the caster, it will bend. (the robot is quite heavy). So i tried to use a turntable as a caster axle, but (...) (21 years ago, 30-Mar-05, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Compressionism (D&RGW coach set)

(...) Just a thought, brought on by you mentioning leaving windows out. Some European HO manufacturers compress the length of long coaches in HO. They do this by having the basic scale of 1:87 but having the length modelled to 1:100. this means that (...) (21 years ago, 30-Mar-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: Compressionism (D&RGW coach set)

(...) Can't speak for anyone else, but I see it as just about mandatory to do anything useable, and still have bricks left over. Replicating every window, every seat, every rivet is just not possible, so leave some out, as long as the feeling is (...) (21 years ago, 30-Mar-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Re: Compressionism (D&RGW coach set)

(...) I think it depends on what you are trying to acheive. In this example Steve has used compression pretty well, its not as a compressed as a Lego designed train but he has managed to chop a considerable amount out without it looking 'wrong' (...)   Re: I2C bus for Lego RCX

(...) Very nice job as usual... as I told you before, I really love your PCB to RCX electrical connectors! (...) Special mention to your Wink Kit (URL) very cool introduction to LEGO sensors building! Philo ...not affiliated in anyway to Mindsensors (...) (21 years ago, 30-Mar-05, to lugnet.robotics)

  Compressionism (D&RGW coach set)

(...) Hi Steve, I just agree the positive feedback posted in this thread. These coaches look great and, more important than anything else, you seems having fun to build them. (I particularly like the color scheme (aka livery) :-)) One point I am (...) (21 years ago, 30-Mar-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Simulink Target Questions; Your thoughts?

Dear BrickOS Users I am in the (very slow) process of writing a new Embedded Target for Matlab Simulink : which will compile the MDL files for use on RCX using BrickOS. The old version written by Mathworks was called ECROBOT and only released for (...) (21 years ago, 30-Mar-05, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

  Re: Afterburner

(...) On the back of the 3x12 slopes, I put one 1x4 plate. Under that 1x4 plate (so it is still going inside the cockpit), I have one 2x2 plate. This 2x2 plate goes lower than the 3x12 slope when watching the ship form her side. I still have 2 studs (...) (21 years ago, 30-Mar-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)
