  Re: X-Wing Mark IV

(...) Thank you. I agree about the canopy, it was not until the thing was finished that I notice the discrepancy -- but then again, it is a beefcaked-up version of the x-wing so I figured (hoped) that could justify the scaling issues. Thank you for (...) (21 years ago, 8-Mar-05, to lugnet.space)

  big wedding figs?

Excuse me, I'm pretty 'out of it' in the land-of-LEGO these days. I got e-mail from someone who's interested in custom figs for a wedding cake (TECHNIC sized). They're not an AFOL. What can I tell this guy? Is there a list people who do this kinda (...) (21 years ago, 8-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  Re: What if.....

(...) Very intersting idea! I am not myself a fan of skirted trucks, I like the built up effect you get by using plates and technic plates. But for some applications they make a lot of sense, and I think your one end part might be very useful. To (...) (21 years ago, 8-Mar-05, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: wanted: water fall ideas.......please

(...) :-) (...) Well, the tiles were a fortuitous purchase from LLC, but the actual waterfall itself is mainly comprised of 1x2 clear bricks, and very affordable (I guess affordability is relative) on BL; many can be had for around .10 each. Excellent work Brendan. I always enjoy reading the Brick Teatament. Keep em coming! This picture especially had me rolling on the floor: (URL) looks like they were so ugly that it's all it took to drives the israelites off :) (21 years ago, 8-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.ancient)

  Re: 2 new GBC modules...

Philo, These are brilliant! All of your modules are very nice, but my favourite is the jigsaw. I had to look at the pictures and video for a long time to understand how it worked. (...) The method that I've used is this: - stick a 2x2 brick under each cylinder - stick 4 friction pins inside one 2x2 brick - join together, and restrain on the outside with 5-hole studless beams (could use 1/2 width, full width, or old-school 1x6 (...)
