  Re: Release dates

(...) The arc was pretty clear from castle to pirates to cowboys to adventurers. Not to mention Star Wars. If I have snipped out your other examples of where Lego might go next, but I think if you want to find out where Lego goes next, visit a toy (...) (21 years ago, 28-Feb-05, to lugnet.lego)

  Re: "Gorgon" droid host unit

(...) That is sooooo cool. Perfect extension to your universe. The secondary arms are a nice touch, I really like that. The size and scale are also a joy to see. Well, not if you end up on the wrong side of the view that is! (URL) Great work. e (21 years ago, 28-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Frank's first LEGO train set has been a 111

(...) THe gears didn't come with the set--they were just in the box when I got it--the instructions don't show them listed. I'm glad I got them, though--they're different than the gears in the other 2 old sets I have--these ones fit the old black (...) (21 years ago, 28-Feb-05, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Fairmont Speeder, small track powed motorcar

(...) Eric, I believe the 107 set came in two versions. The first version had a blue motor and battery box. The second version had a black motor & battery box (not currently listed on Lugnet as a separate set). The blue version came out in the 60's; (...) (21 years ago, 28-Feb-05, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Frank's first LEGO train set has been a 111

(...) Thanks Clark, I knew my list wasn't 100%. Eric Strand also mentioned to me the #080 largest basic set of the late 60's (known as #080 Ambassador Set under Samsonite in USA/Canada). The #080 is a hybrid basic set/train set. Maybe Ben would be a (...) (21 years ago, 28-Feb-05, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Internationalization of the part library?

(...) Personally, I agree. That said, if the LSC decided that internationalization is not a goal then some consideration of how to proceed would be needed, but I would tend to want to follow their recommendation, it's their charter to own decisions (...)   Re: 5 new vignettes

Hey Nelson, More great vignettes! The boxing ring is my favorite, with the clever take on the ropes and the way the faces and poses perfectly match the action. My other favorite is the crossing man (looks like that Podbrix guy). How many times did (...) (21 years ago, 28-Feb-05, to lugnet.town, lugnet.castle, lugnet.sports, FTX)

  Re: Lego Factory Contest results

(...) I don't object to your viewpoint (I think it would be really great if it DID work like Cafepress), I'm merely pointing out there are other equally viable and (simpler) alternatives to the way the Lego Factory might function. Lego already sells (...) (21 years ago, 28-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.microscale, lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.general)
