  Creator Sets 4103+4782 at TRU

Found the 4103 bucket with the free 4782 box tied to it like the spring cleaning sets. Except in this case, there are no special pieces just the 4782 and both for the price of $6.99. Was this ever mentioned by Jake when the spring cleaning sets were (...) (21 years ago, 21-Feb-05, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Imperial Inspection available at Shop@Home...

Already available at TRUs for $49.99 and you save on shipping. Don't know whether it's an exclusive for the store as I haven't seen it in other retailers. AC (21 years ago, 21-Feb-05, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Quarterback Passing Efficiency?? -- Hear me out!!

(...) Okay, I am back with more information. Speed and Strength ===...=== IMO these two are really inverses of each other. A speedy mech is not strong becuase it lacks the ability to carry enough armor. Now on the other hand a strong mech, because (...) (21 years ago, 21-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Parts editing made easy (well, easier)

(...) In order for smoothing to work on parts outside the PARTS and P directories, you need to add the following to the header: 0 Unofficial Part This "turns on" smoothing in LDView. (21 years ago, 21-Feb-05, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Parts editing made easy (well, easier)

(...) I'm puzzled, too. Should I follow some convention regarding the order of primitives in the file? My optional lines *are* correct, I have verified that, but even a simple smooth cylinder converted with my program shows up faceted in LDView. (...) (21 years ago, 21-Feb-05, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) UH OH! I forgot to specify the length. Oh well, Rosco wins. Any butchered legos I have will stay where they are, but NO MORE BUTCHERING LEGOS! (future tense) I'll post some pictures of the 3 butchered crankshafts I have as soon as I can. (...) (21 years ago, 21-Feb-05, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

Re: Parts editing made easy (well, easier)

My converter has undergone a considerable update during the weekend. It is now called "max2dat", because it now handles the 3DS file format as well, and supports the two main export formats from 3dsmax. (The previous "max2dat" utility written in (...) (21 years ago, 21-Feb-05, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) So I am back with more information. As I have started to think this through I have determined, IMO, that what we are trying to do is score our Mech/Mecha against the figurative "Perfect" Mech in the areas of Articulation, Speed and Strength (...)
