  GATS Feb. 2005 - Question

Hi, I've seen some of the wonderfull pictures fron the past GATS show. I'm looking for a more detailed picture of the boxcars that where on the lay out. Can someone point me to such a link if there's one available? Thanks, Ludo - www.belug.be (21 years ago, 16-Feb-05, to lugnet.trains)

(...) jo de e ju sant.. men ja öööö tanken var väll att man fick mera ström om man hadde 2 motagare, men visst de går ju att byta batterier om de skulle va så. /Akira (21 years ago, 16-Feb-05, to lugnet.loc.se)

(...) I'm kinda here in SOuthern Ontario--trips to Michigan stopped when a friend graduated from Calvin College If y'all are closer than Grand Rapids, I might consider it--6+ hours in the mighty dodge isn't my idea of a good time, though.   Re: living in an ABS house?

(...) Wow. That is... so cool. When I finally get around to building my dream house, I'm definitely going to check these guys out. Now, I just need to find a builder who will let me personally lay out all the blocks (starting with a big pile of them (...) (21 years ago, 16-Feb-05, to lugnet.general)

(...) That would be a minor miracle if Bob Kojima Showed up. Since he lives on the left coast in Oregon. If Bob decided to attend the event, I would go in a heartbeat. Ben Medinets (21 years ago, 16-Feb-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, FTX)

Re: New MOC: 30,000 piece neighborhood with minfigs that walk around

Hey Sean, This is way cool! The figs actually look to me like they're ice skating, which suggests an ice rink as a possible MOC. Perhaps the Brick Apple could use a Rockefeller Plaza creation? I'm curious, when a work like this is commissioned for (...) (21 years ago, 16-Feb-05, to lugnet.town, FTX)

This is absolutely awesome. Along with Discovery, they must be a sight to see together. The building techniques convey the appropriate sense of sheer size of the vessels, and the rotating habmodules on the Leonov are very neat. Amazing work! (...) (21 years ago, 16-Feb-05, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Thanks! How much trial & error? Well, way too much -- but still not enough! :) In retrospect, there were a few things that I could have planned better to make it much less of a pain: For example, the paths of the minifigs cross each other.   Re: New MOC: 30,000 piece neighborhood with minfigs that walk around

(...) Wow that is amazing! I can only imagine how much trial and error was required to get the whole minifig-walking aspect right. Your LEGO studio is to-die-for - having foam playmats on the floor is an excellent idea. Did you glue the entire (...) (21 years ago, 16-Feb-05, to lugnet.town, FTX)
