Re: Happy Year of the Rooster

(...) Sorry no. But you can repost to announce.moc and request cancels. If you request a cancel for both the prior posts in the thread (By URL specifically, a vague request will not do) I'll make this post go away too. As long as no one else posts, (...)   Re: bricks & plates forever!

(...) Burkhard, I think that there is major difference in the building styles between German and USA AFOLs. In Germany you have 11,000 Castles, thousands of historic churches, hundreds of medieval cities, lots of medieval gates, walls and other (...) (21 years ago, 10-Feb-05, to lugnet.color)

Re: The Ryetsumaki - MC7 Ball Joint Frame

Hi Eric, this looks different and very familiar. I like it very much. When I first examined the pictures I couldn't see what made me feel that familiar (despite the head). Reading Mark's reply an then looking at the pictures once more I realised it. (...) (21 years ago, 10-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Costco and HarryPotter motorized train

Likewise around Mississauga area, they hit 70 a week before Christmas and GONE! Even at 100 that's a steal BUT BE WARNED, the track in the main set, is one colour grey, and the add-on boxes are another!! Silly packaging. (21 years ago, 10-Feb-05, to lugnet.loc.ca)

Re: Happy Year of the Rooster

Dang, I'm sorry, I posted this to .announce rather than .announce.moc. Is there any way for an admin to move this? Bruce (21 years ago, 10-Feb-05, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Re: Spiral Staircase

Outstanding. The shape of these is really beautiful. Do you plan on incorporating these into a building, or were you just doing the stairs as a standalone? Bruce (21 years ago, 10-Feb-05, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: It's winter. The deer are starving.

Hey Jojo, Very cool. I especially like the rabbit over on the left. I've played around with (URL) designs> in the past, but never come up with anything I really liked. I'll have to borrow that idea someday. Bruce (21 years ago, 10-Feb-05, to lugnet.build, lugnet.town, FTX)

  Dragon by Sealug member

Hi all, Does anyone know who built the dragon in this picture? (URL) That's really cool. Are there better pictures of this on-line? Thanks, Bruce (21 years ago, 10-Feb-05, to lugnet.org.us.sealug, lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Re: New excavator

Nathan Bell- I just saw your excavator, and it looks good! Great way to use the Mindstorms treads. Plus the rear engine is a nice addition; it gives it a bit of realism. Other things I like about your creation are: 1) The use of pneumatics 2) The (...) (21 years ago, 10-Feb-05, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Spiral Staircase

(...) Mark- The stairs look fabulous and I give you my highest commpliment: I look forward to stealing the idea at the first opportunity. BTW: Technically, these are not "spiral" staircases but simply curved staircases (although in the grand (...) (21 years ago, 10-Feb-05, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: The Ryetsumaki - MC7 Ball Joint Frame

Hey Eric, Rad! It's cool to see two builder's styles come together and produce a hybrid that still contains the flavors of both. Bravo! I like the fact that Ryetsumaki's skin is totally you, Eric, but the proportions of Marcus' frame pushed you in a (...) (21 years ago, 10-Feb-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
