As I might have noticed, the Lego technic holes are exactly 4.8mm. This technique is also good to create "technic bricks" - very usable when you need a more stabilized axle-guide. Just drill a standar 2X* brick through the cilinders from the bottom, (...) (21 years ago, 14-Jan-05, to lugnet.robotics)

Hey guys- I was just browsing Brickshelf ((URL) when I noticed how they set up the crane. 1) Yes it has steering (though which knob you turn i DON'T KNOW) 2) The extending mechanism for the boom, it's done by a chain (I didn't know this.
