(...) Thank you very much, Paul and Leonard. I accept the nomination with gratitude and would be pleased to serve again if elected. A post will follow separately with a backgrounder and position statement. Larry Pieniazek (from Tampa FL today) (21 years ago, 7-Jan-05, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, FTX)

Re: Happy Christmas! from The Brick Testament

Hey Brendan, Congratulations on both books. That's really cool. Why oh why did I have to do my huge project on something with active copyrights? :) On to the revised Christmas story (sorrry again about the delay): Okay, it took a bit of digging, but (...)   Re: NQC 1.0 compatibility mode

(...) I know I got stung with it when I first installed the IDE, not having it woulda saved me a couple of posts to Lugnet :) ROSCO (21 years ago, 7-Jan-05, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

  Re: NQC 1.0 compatibility mode

Re: LEGO new crane: a step in the right direction?

(...) Hi Vineet, There are no hoses in the retract holes of either piston. It seems LEGO decided to just use gravity to retract them, if you have used pressure to lower the boom on [LEGOSet 8460] you'll realise this is probably a reasonable thing to (...)   Re: LEGO new crane: a step in the right direction?

One problem I see with this crane pic is that one of the inlets on the pneumatic pistons doesn't have a tube in it. If someone could explain how this crane arm is supposed to be lifted, I'd really like to hear it. Thanks. (21 years ago, 7-Jan-05, to lugnet.technic, FTX)
