(...) Exactly.. as far back as 1999, when I was sorting bricks from 3033's and 2494's I noted that some yellow basic bricks has a very subtle red tinge, where others did not. I just figured that this was an odd red pellet that sneaked into the (...) (21 years ago, 5-Jan-05, to lugnet.color)

Cynthia, I wasn't among the lucky Brickfest attendees who could see this in person, but I certainly remember poring over pics of this in various people's Brickfest photo galleries. And if you look at the rotor piece for that set's alternate build image, it's black. I'd say it's a very good question as to what color piece actually comes in the set. Well, just say intro may not be fair either, as it does include some advanced concepts at the end of the book. It contains useful sample codes, (...) Can someone (jake?) from LEGO find out what the deal is with these sets. Both sets show that the "fan"/"engine center" piece (used as the tail rotor on the 7031) are supposed to come in black.
