  Re: balancing bot

thanks much for the links! Using a mod of Frederic Siva's code, I've managed to get my bot somewhat stable. It wobbles around like a drunken sailor but basically stays up. I've got a movie file of it careening around the floor for about a minute (...) (21 years ago, 30-Dec-04, to lugnet.robotics)

  LeoCAD part list utility

When LeoCAD reads a file, it discards all parts that are not present in its part library. To be able to keep track of unofficial parts used by the author but that are not in standard library, I have written a little utility to establish a part list (...)   Re: Interstellar Legionnaires

Hi Chris Welcome to .space! (I didn't get to say it 5 months ago) Nice subdued colourscheme, I like the big bulky middle part and semicircular engine bases, but I think you should move the outermost conical thrusters in a bit, they doesn't look too (...)   Re: The Tenth and Final ROTS set. Spoiler Warning!!!

(...) Hmm. I see what you mean. The color difference isn't noticeable (to me) on the set-box picture. So I suspect it's a matter of rebelscum getting a prototype to photograph (or just getting pictures of a prototype). Or maybe LEGO's making a new (...) (21 years ago, 30-Dec-04, to lugnet.starwars)

12 spoke Train Wheels that were not released

A few months ago one of the AFOL's brought to my attention the fact that 12 spoke red train wheels were not produced for sale, and yet they show up in 1968-75 Lego brochures and books. I was unaware just how much this "faux pas" existed in old Lego (...) (21 years ago, 30-Dec-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.trains)

  3D-puzzle: the Sphere

Hi all, 1) In April I designed a LEGO-version of the wooden puzzle-cube (in MLCad). (URL) 2) In May it was followed by the spherical version of that very same puzzle (also in MLCad). (URL) 3) When I got back from Billund with lots of tan and brown (...) (21 years ago, 30-Dec-04, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build, lugnet.cad, FTX) !

(...) Not to start another holy war or anything, but do others see that those wing pieces on the tops of the sides are a different grey color than the plates on the sides? Is this light grey and light-light grey, sand blue and light grey, or some (...) (21 years ago, 30-Dec-04, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Santa Fe El Capitan Hi-Level

(...) True but changing the color scheme will make the cars NOT be Santa Fe Cars. I think a blue would look very nice but then when you pull them with the Grey Santa Fe Engine it will not look right. =( -AHui (21 years ago, 30-Dec-04, to lugnet.trains)
