  Re: Johnny five robot

(...) (URL) is where you talk about the MUX, what I want to know is, do you attach the motor control wires to the screws on the side or what, and what size screws are they? (21 years ago, 26-Dec-04, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Camião/Truck

(...) Boas Festas também! (...) (...) Wow, that's a beautiful piece of work! I think you nailed the look quite nicely. Can you tell us more about the multiplexor and the light sensor you did? Also, what did you decide to program him in? Spotlighted, thanks for sharing! (21 years ago, 26-Dec-04, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Coming to Kalamazoo

(...) I'd be able to come as well, I'm up in this freaking cold in A2 this week! The 27th would be good. -Jason (21 years ago, 26-Dec-04, to lugnet.org.us.michlug, FTX)

  Re: Just build.....

(...) I don't think the mood here is "LEGO can do no wrong", nor should it be. Constructive feedback is good and LEGO should welcome it. However the mood here, (my read only on this) is that there is less tolerance for people repeating the same (...) (21 years ago, 26-Dec-04, to lugnet.general)

Re: Happy Holidays = LEGO under the tree

(...) Between the three of us this year, we made out pretty well. To Me: 628 - Extra Large Grey Baseplate (Can't have enough of these) + 630 - Brick Separator (Handiest piece ever made) + 4790 - Alpha Team Robot Diver (In my stocking) + 4851 - The (...)   Re: Two queries: How-to for loco wheels and which app did this?

(...) Hi Sebastian, Yes, thats correct, it is the 'train wheels 2' sans the *@$$% holder. As for your second question, in MLCAD, the wheels without the holder are just that- wheels without the holder. Whats missing is a metal axle which connects the (...) (21 years ago, 26-Dec-04, to lugnet.cad)

Re: How do I power a long track?

(...) The GMLTC has this problem in our 'small' (approximately 100 feet of track) loop, because our larger 8-wide trains are heavy and we really work the motors hard. Our solution? Add another speed regulator! We put one at each end of the dogbone, (...) (21 years ago, 26-Dec-04, to lugnet.trains)

Re: How do I power a long track?

(...) If that's causing the trouble, there's a couple of things you can do. Clean the contacts with a pencil eraser to remove dirt, finger oils, and surface corrosion. Carefully apply a little bit of "contact conditioner", available at computer and (...) (21 years ago, 26-Dec-04, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Replacement Firmware Released

(...) With new timer resolution and fine motor power control, will RCX control SERVO MOTORS with precision? I tried to learn PBforth, but I prefer NQC. It would be great! (21 years ago, 26-Dec-04, to lugnet.robotics)
