  Re: Vorton Battle Midget

(...) Awwww, this little guy is so cuuuuute!!! I love how compact it is, it'd be great as a little thingy (or four) tucked under the bottom of a planetary exploration craft.   Re: Discussion of Train Table Sizes

(...) It is the always the case in the UK, there is no equivalent to GATS. Some of the local clubs do put on national size and quality shows but they do (and can do) this purely because they have a large membership and a willing and active (...) (21 years ago, 20-Dec-04, to lugnet.trains.org)

Re: Discussion of Train Table Sizes

(...) Plenty of people do own their own vans, but they don't seem to be Lego fans! They are normally full of rubbish/builders tools and dirt as well! You don't get many pickups, only builders really seem to have them. However people carriers (...) (21 years ago, 20-Dec-04, to lugnet.trains.org)

  Re: 10152 Update

Hi all, 1) I would like to mention a fact to this issue, which might help to understand the annoyance of nearly all German AFOLs (here on LUGNET and on 1000steine.de (see: (URL)). In Germany, the set was actually announced as limited. The official (...) (21 years ago, 20-Dec-04, to lugnet.lego, FTX) !

  Re: 10152 Update

Selling items, suggesting a last-time chance and indicating there will only be a limited quantity availible, then make more of exactly the same items later is no acceptable way of conducting business, regardless of circumstances. Customers (!) are (...) (21 years ago, 20-Dec-04, to lugnet.lego)

(...) -snip, skipping the rest of it- Just a small observation, here; if they are mixing new Maersk Blue ABS, and all of the older sets were made with the same batch of pellets, how closely will the colors be matched? (...) No, LDDP works fine. I'm using Windows 2000. (...) I tried both 3.0beta and 2.1. Same problem. (...) Fine! in the same vein, adding automatically a .mpd extension if needed for output file would be great. (...) I know this is the "official" (...) (21 years ago, 20-Dec-04, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Multiple numbers for same set

(...) There are definatly differences between the origonal set (the 8460) and the re-releases (the 8431\8438). For example, the 8460 used 2 of part Technic Connector Toggle Joint Toothed whereas the 8431 uses a single Technic Angle Connector #6 for (...) (21 years ago, 20-Dec-04, to lugnet.lego)

  Re: My average set

(...) Well quantified! Though I, for one, am not completely comfortable with the idea that a standard deviation can be as concrete a thing as a Lego set, albeit one as fine as the Clown-go-round.
