  rtl 18 date

I know I previously asked to have the competition at the beginning of February, but my trip out west has shifted to the beginning of the month. So can we have the microstacking competition at the end of the month? Rob (21 years ago, 7-Dec-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Kits for sale

(...) Just a translation, 'new sealed boxes' means, open (both box and all part bags) and used (assembled at least once). As a bonus, some of the parts are dusty from being on display (obvious when a 2x6 black plate has a 2x2 section of pure dust). (...) (21 years ago, 7-Dec-04, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: Is there a guide to which bricks go best with which transparent elements?

(...) There is a way. You put the colors you want to experiment with next to each other. Get a transparent canopy, and put it on a few pieces of another color. Does it work for you? Maybe the pairing is plain and unimpressive. Get another color to (...) (21 years ago, 7-Dec-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Again, spectacular stuff, Chris!! Wonderfully organic design that's excellently well-balanced in details and smoothness. The trio in the forward cockpit is not only a great little package but look at the visors in this pic: (URL) camera and hands (...) (21 years ago, 7-Dec-04, to lugnet.space)

Large Technic/Model Team collection + some Star Wars/other

Greetings! I have a closet full of Lego that I'm not using, and haven't used pretty much since moving into this house (in 2001) Below is the list of sets that I have. I didn't see the beginning, but I think they're using Mindstorms to make a dog-walker/line-follower on Monster Garage. Wish I was there... Steve (21 years ago, 7-Dec-04, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.mediawatch)

  Re: Hailfire Droid wheel explorations

I've been thinking, there's gotta be some way one could adapt one or two of those hailfire droid wheels for a turntable assembly, like for a crane project or to build a rotating restaurant on top of. Anyone got any ideas or photos that might help? (...) (21 years ago, 6-Dec-04, to lugnet.build, lugnet.technic, lugnet.znap)

  Re: Two lunatic SpaceWheels entries

(...) (Could have been a CaRB too... :) Every once in awhile lack of color contrast is interesting, which is true of this model. But what it lacks in that way, it makes up for in texture contrast, and not overly so either. This is done well, and (...) (21 years ago, 3-Dec-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)
