 | | Re: Duplo Castle set 4776 - and a problem
I just purchased 4776 from Toys R Us, and it has the same problem - the shields are simply black rather then printed like it shows on the box. I did buy the smaller Knight and Squire set at the same time. The shield in that set is printed. Thus, I'd (...) (21 years ago, 4-Dec-04, to lugnet.duplo, lugnet.castle, lugnet.lego, FTX)

 | | Bricklink appears to be unavailable.
As of writing this, I haven't been able to access bricklink since it's normally scheduled server reboot. It looks like a general outage at Eric Smith's hosting facilities. Since I have no affiliation with Eric or admins at bricklink, I'm wondering (...) (21 years ago, 4-Dec-04, to lugnet.market.brickshops)

I too got the extra 25% discount applied to 4 shrieking shacks that I put on lay-by at Myers. (An effective total discount of 62.5%) If anyone finds out that the 25% manually applied on top is wrong, please email me. Spammers will be ignored, and (...) (21 years ago, 4-Dec-04, to lugnet.loc.au)

I had much the same experience with the same set at another Myer store. When I first took it to the counter the assistant said it was $49.95 but when my partner took the same set they gave him the extra 25% off. As to whether we were *supposed* to (...) (21 years ago, 4-Dec-04, to lugnet.loc.au)
