  Re: IRONCLAD Space Frigate 34

(...) Well the obvious comment is that it looks a lot like Lenny's EB ship. I think it looks like you have a decent start to a ship, but the large expanses of plain flat panels just looks a bit unfinished. Try adding some slopes on the sides that (...)   IRONCLAD Space Frigate 34

Hey all! I just got done taking pictures and uploading them on Brickshelf of my new space MOC, IRONCLAD Space Frigate. Some of you may be wondering what I mean by IRONCLAD. Well, after coming back from BF04 I was inspired to make my own space theme. (...) (21 years ago, 2-Dec-04, to lugnet.space)

Re: ldraw programs for PDAs? (was MLCAD for PALM)

(...) I seem to remember James Jessiman used to run LDraw/LEdit on his old laptop. Or at least, he intended them to runnable on such a system. Wouldn't a CGA/EGA laptop be morally equivalent to a Pocket PC? Of course, what's the chance that (...) (21 years ago, 2-Dec-04, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: ldraw programs for PDAs? (was MLCAD for PALM)

Hi all, Any chance to bring this topic back to attention? Would it be possible to make an LDraw VIEWER for Pocket PC (Windows Mobile, CE or other portable systems). You could indeed put the parts on a memory card and view any LDraw model (as long as (...) (21 years ago, 2-Dec-04, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: New British Class 50 'Hoover' in Large-Logo Blue Livery

(...) <snip> Very nice, Mark. Big! :-d~~ I have a question about the scale. It appears to be 8 wide, which would imply to me to be more like 6.4mm:1ft. Are you going solely by track gauge for scaling, or width of the loco? I would guess that that (...) (21 years ago, 2-Dec-04, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: Space Wheels Contest - Closed

(...) Oh, jeez. Are you gonna enter this in the hover thing contest too? It looks like it might be over the length limit for single-man... you could claim that some of the crew is missing too... -- Tony Hafner www.hafhead.com (21 years ago, 2-Dec-04, to lugnet.space)

New British Class 50 'Hoover' in Large-Logo Blue Livery

Here's a new British loco in 8mm:1ft scale. It is 50033 "Glorious" in memory of the real engine of that name being shut up in Swindon (UK) STEAM museum, fully serviceable but unable to run - what a shame! Still, you can go and see it without finding (...) (21 years ago, 1-Dec-04, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.loc.uk, FTX) !

  Re: Two lunatic SpaceWheels entries

(...) This thing is beautiful. Greebling to this extent isn't something I've seen from you before. On the other hand, going to extremes is kind of up your alley, and this thing is all greebles. (...) Yeah, this looks like Ley's work. It's cute, and (...) (21 years ago, 2-Dec-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)
