Re: what is the best starter train set?

(...) Precious Princess Palace on bricklink had a slew of them all for $80 so they are still around. Good to know about the gray. Luckily my dark ages pretty much started in the early/mid 90's so I missed most of the color additions and when I did (...) (21 years ago, 2-Dec-04, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: Color change: **CEO Draft Letter**

(...) Your comments above are excellent. Short, concise, and sums it up. I like 4 through 6 the best. #3 is probably the least convincing statement of the 6 IMO, but is still true. If we wrap it around why "Lego should care" about AFOL (some (...) (21 years ago, 2-Dec-04, to lugnet.color, lugnet.lego, lugnet.general, FTX)

Space Wheels Entry: Nezumi attack vehicle

(URL) I hope I didn't miss the deadline for the Space Wheels contest (I sent the e-mail a little over 20 minutes ago). Anyways, I don't remember where I saw it, but the wheel design was actually inspired by an image showing how the 8x8 radar dishes (...)   Re: Lego clone from China?

(...) "Enlighten" brand... I think thats the same brand name that TLC just crushed a bunch of in Finland (on the way to Russia). Looks a bit like someone took a real LEGO box, scanned the artwork, changed the company logo and put a new number on it. (...) (21 years ago, 2-Dec-04, to lugnet.general)

Re: GMLTC at Jackson St. Roundhouse, St. Paul, Dec. 4 and 11

I should have also mentioned that we especially invite other AFOLs to come hang out with us at the display. The GMLTC could use some more active members and this is an ideal place to meet us and see if you might be interested in becoming involved in (...)   Re: MOC: Shuriken

(...) Thanks! (...) Yeah, sort of like taking your little bot variety concept and shrinking it waaaaay down so my collection can handle it! snip (...) You know, I had ruled that out because I wouldn't have enough of the "stick" parts to do guns for (...) (21 years ago, 2-Dec-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: What sort of LEGO-related printed materials do you collect?

(...) G'day, Well...I collect all sorts of Instructions and "FLUBBER" [1]. At present I have about a dozen folders full of instructions (heading for 1000 or so...I don't have all the sets myself, but I'm working on it.) including variations (...)
