Re: Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow

(...) Saw it and REALLY liked it. I knew it wasn't going to be Shakespeare, but it was an enjoyable romp. It was like watching a pulp novel, and it really worked. There was real chemistry between Paltrow and Law, and the ending line was a corker. (...) (21 years ago, 14-Nov-04, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Problems with Lego Digital Designer-Help!

(...) They *are* a bit difficult to see, yes. But a graphics problem can of course make it worse... This is how it looks on my screen: (URL) absolutely *no* possibility to see that the first three green squares are in fact 8x8 base plates (well, (...) (21 years ago, 14-Nov-04, to lugnet.lego)

  A change of colours.

I haven't bought a LEGO set in more than a year. I haven't met with fellow LUGNetters since May. (at least I think I did, it's getting hazy) But the clincher is I haven't built a new model or own creation in at least 18 months. But.. I have moved (...) (21 years ago, 14-Nov-04, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: November 20th, 2004 SMART Meeting

(...) For the BrickHeap Wars competition there were strict rules about what and how the robots had to work. For our mini-challenges, we leave much of the interpretation up to you. Do what you can.   Re: Aargh...

(...) Snip excellent reasons.... Totally cool with me, while I was willing to step to the plate, you just saved me some packing and sorting out of bricks in the aftermath. (...) Hope all goes well with that chat. Janey "Red Brick" (21 years ago, 14-Nov-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Aargh...

(...) First, Janey, thank you for offering. But we probably shouldn't... While the offer is much appreciated, I think that effectively would mean we have been strongarmed by the organizers.   Re: 2005 Fire Pics

(...) SNIP (...) SNIP (...) how juniorized? is the truck base 1 piece or multiple large pieces? I noticed a lot of the new town vehicles in these pics have the same wheel configuration, but different distances apart.
