  Re: Spring Cleaning Goodies

(...) In my area (Cary, NC) the two Kroger stores near my house didn't have the tubs but the Kroger store near my office (which is in Durham) did have them. The palette they are on is big, it has a footprint of about 5'x3' or so. One Kroger near my (...) (21 years ago, 1-Nov-04, to lugnet.lego)

  Re: Beta testers?

Kevin- When I'm rendering my design, the window that allows you to run the rendering comes up. Mine is clogged with other rendering designs (des.1, des.2, etc). Do you know how to clear it up? (21 years ago, 1-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Crazy idea - analog computer

(...) So... another nerd joins the fray! ;) It's not such a crazy idea, actually... and there have been many different attempts at building computing devices out of LEGO in the past, of varying degrees of complexity and usefullness I'm not too sure (...)   Re: Spring Cleaning Goodies

(...) Does anyone know which Kroger Stores will carry the 4400's ? Is this just a regional release? I searched the entire Indianapolis metro area without any success. Brian (21 years ago, 1-Nov-04, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

Bionicle print error in instruction book 8602

Not that it's a huge issue, but the instruction book for 8602 has a 'comic' in the back--Toa Nuju and Toa Nokama names are switched for their 'mugshot'. This is for the 'Canadianized' version (english/francais text) of the set--maybe it's printed (...) (21 years ago, 1-Nov-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: BOO!

Wow! It's very cool. I think there should be a moment of silence here though. I mean, when Jon was out in Seattle, he used LEGO to build SPACE, but now that he's back out in the great mid-west, he's had to resort to pumpkins. I think that's very, (...)   Re: 4+ Pirate Sets in North America!

(...) I almost never give anything hit points. I give it a save (for example, a very tough to kill creature rolls 1d6 when hit, if it rolls anything but a 1 it survives). Frank (21 years ago, 1-Nov-04, to lugnet.pirates)

  Re: Can we help?

(...) Just a word of warning, and pointing out the obvious: If LEGO moves production to China, expect leaks of set designs, the copying of sets by clone bricks, etc. to happen on a regular basis. The legal department will have their hands full! Just (...) (21 years ago, 1-Nov-04, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: A little something to counter the recent drama.

(...) Don't use JPEG for crisp, clean graphical logos like these, if you can avoid it! You will notice pale, colored pixels in the white areas, a result of the compression scheme. Better format choices are PNG or TIFF. Both of these formats have (...) (21 years ago, 1-Nov-04, to lugnet.space)

  Beta testers?

Hi, I've been doing a lot of work on LPub over the last few months (its about time!), and I was looking for Beta testers. So far Mike and Rosco have voluneteered. The changed to LPub are all related to building instruction image generation. Some (...) (21 years ago, 1-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad)

Out of touch for a few days

All, Just a quick heads up, next week I'm going radio silent - I'm actually taking some much needed time off. And really taking time off! (not like I typically do which is to work a bit here and there) That means if you need me, ping me this week or (...) (21 years ago, 1-Nov-04, to lugnet.lego)
