Brissy Lugs LEGO Christmas Party! - Sat/Sun Nov 27th/28th 2004!

(...) Hi all, due to me going overseas earlier than expected, I have to put the date forward, to either Sat 27th Nov or Sun 28th, let me know which is preferable, either are fine for me. Sorry for any inconvenience caused! Hope to see you all there! (...) (22 years ago, 26-Oct-04, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.loc.au.qld.bri, FTX)

Re: MOC: Pacific Coast Shay #2

(...) Thanks Marc! He actually operated one? Cool! Cass is definitely on my list of places to visit in the US. Maybe next time I get to BF - it's not all that far away from DC :) ROSCO (22 years ago, 26-Oct-04, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: MOC: Pacific Coast Shay #2

(...) Yep it does make a nice sound, with the 2 motors whirring. I've actually just yesterday re-built it using the un-geared motors, to see if I could get it running close to the same speed as a train motor, and the reduction in volume is amazing! (...)   Re: PLUGS #2 Update

Can someone make sure that a GOOD Digital Camera (braith, perhaps you can bring the one you used to photograph my police stuff before?) is present at this event to document the event? I want to have some pictures of this one (not like PLUGS #1 where (...) (22 years ago, 26-Oct-04, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.loc.au.wa.per)

Re: MOC: Pacific Coast Shay #2

I showed this to a friend of mine who has actually operated the Shay #2 at Cass, and he was truly amazed. Outstanding work! Marc Nelson Jr. (22 years ago, 26-Oct-04, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: Poe story for Halloween: Cask of Amontillado

(...) Very well executed! Love the little details, especially the crooked shelves Dave K (22 years ago, 26-Oct-04, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: Poe story for Halloween: Cask of Amontillado

(...) Very nice Lego adaptation of the tale. I've always liked Poe's stories and your rendition was very well done. Hope you do more of his stories! John (22 years ago, 26-Oct-04, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: New MOC: M2911 Plasma Pistol

(...) No manure-powered spaceships yet, but the idea is on the backburner of my mind. Despite the comfort of their old-fashioned ways, all of my Amish minifigs are going to be forced into a futuristic theme for their own good. I've had their barn (...) (22 years ago, 26-Oct-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: y-wing, no capital letter

(...) Ouch aïe!... :-) I understand your opinion about this ship Paul. I agree with you the design is not something new (a y-wing after all...). I wanted to share this MOC because I found the mid-section, the way the two parts of the ship are (...) (22 years ago, 26-Oct-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build, FTX)

Re: Poe story for Halloween: Cask of Amontillado

(...) Great Poe story + exquisite building = wonderful Halloween tale! The lighting you used for the pictures in the catacombs is very effective. I like the trowel too. David "Fuzzy" Gregory (22 years ago, 26-Oct-04, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build, FTX)
