  Re: lattice windows

Hi Daan, (...) Well, it's mine :) (URL) used this technique for my Tonquedec castle. (...) I really like those windows. I tried also to use the 8x8 plate, but I didn't like the 2x2 square in the middle. You find a very good way to mask it. I hope (...) (22 years ago, 14-Oct-04, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Hermaphrodite Pin?

(...) Now that I think of it, isn't "hermaphrodite" incorrect in this context? I mean, a 1x1 brick is hermaphroditic re: male:female connection points. The part you're describing might be more accurately described as male:male. Dave! (22 years ago, 14-Oct-04, to lugnet.parts, FTX)

  Re: lattice windows

These are so very very very cool! I can't wait till I have a MOC I can use these ideas on. I. I like this window alot. I've seen the SNOT fences used that way before, but I've never seen a fence slipped inside an arch like that. It REALLY makes the (...) (22 years ago, 14-Oct-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Hermaphrodite Pin?

(...) Just for the sake of completeness, I'll mention that to my knowledge Tyco produced and sold the only LEGO-compatible single pin male:male connector. Tyco also produced a 2x2 male:male connector plate that was thinner than a normal plate, as (...) (22 years ago, 14-Oct-04, to lugnet.parts, FTX)

  Closing airlocks

This has probably turned up before, but I wanted to know how people recommend that closing airlocks should be created. I may not use any of your ideas, but I would like to know what techniques there are. I am interested particularly in airlocks that (...) (22 years ago, 14-Oct-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build)

  Re: Hermaphrodite Pin?

(...) No, Lego apparently can't justify the cost of producing the mold for such a part, nor that of a plate with studs on both sides; however, you can have your fill of useful parts like this: (URL) :-) Mark (22 years ago, 14-Oct-04, to lugnet.parts, FTX)

Re: What did you make with your BrickLink order?

(...) Exactly. Without BL sellers, or those who sold bricks prior to Brickbay (Hi, Krenzilla:-) this hobby wouldn't nearly be rewarding enough to pursue IMO. JOHN (22 years ago, 14-Oct-04, to lugnet.market.brickshops, FTX)

  Re: Hermaphrodite Pin?

(...) Like others have said, no I don't think there's such a pin. However, I have tried using this part: (URL) When I was a kid, I broke the "clip" part off the 1x1 plate and used the round clip to attach two plates back to back. You'll have a (...) (22 years ago, 14-Oct-04, to lugnet.parts, FTX)

  Re: lattice windows

snip (...) I think it looks great! Here is a not finished house the used another solution: (URL) used the "headlight piece" to do it. The windows got to small and bulky so I abandoned the idea and rebuilt the whole house, because I wanted the house (...) (22 years ago, 14-Oct-04, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)
