 | | Classic Lego sets? (was Re: TLG 1998 Annual Report)
(...) I zipped thru a TRU the other day, and saw something new. Sets marked as "Classic". I was in a bit of a hurry, so I did not have a chance to do a close examination. I saw two sets, a large box on the lower shelf, and a small one near the top. (...) (27 years ago, 21-Jun-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego)

 | | L3P primitive substitution
Lars, Is L3P supposed to substitute for the 2-4cyls.dat primitive? I just L3P'd the Minifig Longbow, and it looked great except for the 2-4cyls.dat which were turned into quads and really stood out. I'm using v1.1 if that helps. -John Van (27 years ago, 21-Jun-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) That would be great if you could show me a 8086 or 286 that ran Linux. You can get Xenix (or could get Xenix) for 286 machines, but you probably can't write the low-level device drivers to run the I/O ports that you'll be custom building for (...) (27 years ago, 21-Jun-99, to lugnet.robotics)
