Re: KTVU Offer for Lego Users Club

(...) What if (and this wouldn't solve the problem entirely, but may help) what if there were a straightforward way to extract a self-contained segment of rotating content (a hunk of HTML code, in other words) periodically from the lugnet.com (...)   Re: new (to me) use for worms

(...) Interesting idea. But in thinking about it (without actually prototyping), I have a problem. You propose to use the worm on the drive axle, right? And the idea is that the worm can slide a little bit to and fro to adjust for the axles movement (...) (27 years ago, 18-Jun-99, to lugnet.build)

  Ticklebot

Take a look at this - I reckon I'm a-gonna try and make a Lego one! RCX or Cybermaster? Hmm! (URL) a 'tickling robot' that crawls over one's body, gently tickling as it goes with its rubber pronged tracks. It tries not to fall off, apparently by (...) (27 years ago, 18-Jun-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Help ID door pieces

(...) I have that set as well (720) and I agree, it is not in the instructions. But I do have 3 of the white doors. One is from the 6377 I have (along with one blue airplane tail). But where the other two came from, I have no idea. I have absolutely (...) (27 years ago, 18-Jun-99, to lugnet.general)

  Lab View

Hello I'm new to this group, and I don't have a RCX yet, I'm still saving, and reading as much as I can. And I have a couple of question. I see that RoboLab is an an interface over Lab view. Has anyone written anything is just Lab view 5 or is there (...) (27 years ago, 18-Jun-99, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Small Space Fighter

(...) Very nice little ship. The curve is pretty clever. Anyone ever notice how often one must step through Fredrik's models to figure them out? :-) -- Terry K -- (27 years ago, 18-Jun-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

Re: Thank you for the help!!

(...) Thanks. But Adam *made* the door, so he should get the lions share of swell-ness. :-) -- Terry K -- (27 years ago, 18-Jun-99, to lugnet.cad)

  Bit Stream Interface

Has anyone experimented with bit stream interfaces using the rotational sensor? Currently I'm trying to make somethinkg up, here are my ideas: I was looking for a way to transmit a series of binary data through an input port on the RCX. The problem (...)
