Re: Heavily modified 8880 chassis, succesfully motorised and solar powered.

Sounds great! I would also like to see a bunch of .jpg photos. The transmission is something I'd love to see in detail and details on the solar panel you're using would satisfy a curiosity(sp?) as well. Keep us updated. ---...--- Nathan Falslev (...) (22 years ago, 31-Jan-03, to lugnet.technic)

(...) I don't have any 'real' photos, as I don't have a digital camera. The .ldr files come from MLCad, and for me they work in LDview too. Maybe you can try those. (22 years ago, 31-Jan-03, to lugnet.technic)

  Thanks MichLUG!!

A sincere thanks to all MichLUG members that were at the Gats, Novi, MI, 25-26 jan. I had a blast. I am very thankful for the invitation and the chance to display my church/rock. These guys really rock. They set-up as a group, and work as a great (...) (22 years ago, 31-Jan-03, to lugnet.org.us)

  Re: PolyTech Industries Model 2H

(...) Nifty bot. "Their model 2M appears to simply be a 2H with a lingual filter that interprets "repair" and "attack" as the same word." Heh heh - sounds like something Intel would do :) Jeff J (22 years ago, 31-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Heavily modified 8880 chassis, succesfully motorised and solar powered.

(...) Hi Gillis! Welcome to Lugnet. Your project sounds very interesting, as the 8880's major flaw has always been the difficulty in motorizing it. The quicktime 3d images are cool, but do you take any photos of the completed model? (in JPG) ? I (...) (22 years ago, 31-Jan-03, to lugnet.technic)

  Re: Wouldn't it be nice...

(...) LEGO is going to release a Bionicle-related movie. Don't know any thing else about it tho, except for this: (URL) "edgy, Oscar-nominated" branch of Disney) is working on this, so it might be a good sign. But then again, Miramax released the (...) (22 years ago, 31-Jan-03, to lugnet.general)

Already been done: (URL) Bionicle Movie (I have heard) should be available soon.. straight to video. But this article mentions a second movie in 2004. I would go see it. I think the Bionicle story is fairly interesting. :) -Alfred (...) (22 years ago, 31-Jan-03, to lugnet.general)
