Re: Some support for game project...

(...) I personally like the idea of including resurrection of characters if this is a fantasy game. However, I would place huge restrictions on it. The kind of magic that can bring back the dead would be tremendously powerful magic (for presumably a (...) (22 years ago, 28-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: MOC: a.c.e.r. Insertion Mech Unit

Woah, Gil's moving in build.mecha territory... I'm getting nervous... ;-) Dude, this little guy is awesome! I love how the legs flow so seamlessly into the rest of the body. Plus, it's compact form makes it ideal for transport and mass production. (...) (22 years ago, 28-Jan-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Anymore B&M Walmart markdowns?

I've visited some of my local Wal-Marts and haven't found the great markdown deals that existed at Target, so therefore there's still a lot of stock. Does Wal-Mart do another mark down? It looks like they're at almost 50% now. Maybe on February 1? (...) (22 years ago, 28-Jan-03, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Ringo the Cat: my first attempt at LEGO sculpture

(...) I think it's a darn pretty nifty likeness. Just enough caricature to make it interesting. But I want to know, how did you get RealRingo(tm) to pose alongside LegoRingo(tm)?? We can never photograph our cats, they won't hold still long enough. (22 years ago, 28-Jan-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture)

  Re: MOC: The Hummingbird

This is neat little craft. It reminds me of the twin engine prop spotter planes used in Korea and Vietnam. Tough little birds that were versatile as they are spritely....much the same feel from your creation. I dig the dioramas showing the (...) (22 years ago, 28-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: A name for the game project...

(...) [Sorry for any typos. I'm wearing gloves because it is rather cold here.] I would stray away from any game name that includes the trademark word Lego. Unless the game is sanctioned by TLC, you could risk trademark infringement. IMO, Yaron's (...) (22 years ago, 28-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: LPub 2.1.0.6 Available

Kevin, Boy, you continue to make a great program even better! Thanks for all of your time updating LPub. It has become my new best friend when documenting student instructions. I used it yesterday and save for a few little quirks, free software just (...) (22 years ago, 28-Jan-03, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.inst, lugnet.cad.dev)

RCX & RIS, a fading glory?

Ok, I haven't been around for a little while and I haven't seen any news at all about this, so I'm going to ask my fellow members: What's happening to the RIS?? The last update, 2.0, was not even close to being an update, all there was was some (...) (22 years ago, 28-Jan-03, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.robotics.rcx)

Wow, that's a really smooth design. Everything fits perfectly. It looks tough but compact. Great work. -Andrew (...) (22 years ago, 28-Jan-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)
