  Re: Debut MOC: Castle Earthflower

(...) Glad you delurked for whatever reason! Kevin, I literally started taking notes as I was looking at Ter-Fleur. First of all, it's *blue*! (Okay, partly blue.) My favorite color! And I like your sig-fig and Bricksidge, the play on your name. (...) (22 years ago, 22-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: more .space Crash Course ideas

Don't hold your breath. I need a better camera. Its really pretty simple. 2x2 turntable on the bottom and the top is held in place with 4 3x3 triangular plates. Top has 2x2 round and 2x2 square plates to make a knob to turn it. HTH (...) (22 years ago, 22-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: My modular castle creations

Jon, Beautiful creation. (Though why aren't you busy making LotR MOCs!?!? :) ) I really like this as a theme, even though I'm not a fan of panel wall pieces. One question, in the corner tower subset, can the walls be attached to any of the 4 sides (...) (22 years ago, 22-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: My Website

(...) Thanks for the Comments. The TOwer shields are really simple. 2 1x4 tiles attach to a 1x2 plate and a modefied 1x2 plate with handle. | | | o | | | (side view- |=1 stud by 1/3 height) They are a bit bulkier than 2 clip-on roadsigns but the (...) (22 years ago, 22-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)

I read every word that you wrote… I viewed every picture you posted… And I considered your statements in its entirety… …Thus, all I have to say is: !!!FINALLY, this is so RIGHT!!! Cool idea! I hadn't thought about how great of a new bracket these pieces are. Time to build... -Stefan- (...) (22 years ago, 21-Jan-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.trains)

  Re: My modular castle creations

(...) Then why do they keep giving us BURPy-LURPy parts? Drive me crazy... Jon, I really like all of your sets, and, as you pointed out, even if someone hated them, there's enough variety of parts to build something else. (Yay!) I have a question, (...) (22 years ago, 22-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Pre - Classic Space rears it's ugly head again

(...) YES, that what I was hoping for. I read my old world book encyclopedias and looked at cool pics on the covers of magazines (Pop. Mechanics, Pop. Sci., Omni etc) and thought HOW COOL IS THAT? Bubbly cockpits with spindly landing gear. Thrusters (...) (22 years ago, 22-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Tangent between two circles in 3D space?

Re: Tangent between two circles in 3D space?

(...) OK. Here's my rather convoluted analysis: 1. Find the plane of pulley A 2. Find the plane of pulley B 3. If they dont intersect, no tangent so stop here 4. Find the angle between them, call it T 5. Find the normal to plane A that passes (...) (22 years ago, 22-Jan-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Motorized control of the 5120 polarity switch

  My modular castle creations

This is an Idea I’m certain we’ve all thought of, but I figured that I would try to put my ideas into words and pictures. It’s a Castle theme that I’ve developed in my spare time. (URL) main purpose of these designs was to try to put together a (...) (22 years ago, 22-Jan-03, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.castle) !!

  Re: Microfig Attack Carrier

(...) hmmm... actually, one of the things that I like about your past ships is that you never really seemed to be trying to out-do anything, just make solid creative designs. What I mean is that most of the joy was in their poetic use of geometry (...) (22 years ago, 22-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Prototype Destroyer

Thanks for the praise, everyone. A few thoughts I neglected to mention earlier. I had a plan to take a picture of the inferno with the rest of my Space Police sets (One Mission Commander, 3 SP Strikers, and 3 GPK) but I ran out of time. When I get (...) (22 years ago, 21-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Pre - Classic Space rears it's ugly head again

(...) These are getting better every time... this looks more like "realistic classic space" to me than "pre-classic space", which is a good thing IMHO. The cockpit windows on this one are killer. The engine clusters look very functional. I could (...) (22 years ago, 21-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: 3033 on the shelf again?

(...) Hmmmm interesting. There's a query about this here (URL) and my inventory (in the reply)matches the peeron inventory. There's a dearth of 3033s available in Aus right now, has anyone in aus seen one with different brick counts? ROSCO (added (...) (22 years ago, 21-Jan-03, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.loc.au)
