Re: 6636 Police Station not on Lugnet?

(...) Funny I stumbled across this post since I was just about to ask about set 7142 which is a re-release of the X-Wing set 7140 (URL) such re-releases be inserted into the database since Lego themselves are labeling them with new numbers?   Re: 50% off HP/SW/RC Lego at Argos

Heheheh. Just got a Dumbledore's office, a Chamber of Secrets, an Escape from Privet Drive, Aragog and the _last_ Technic RC Buggy from my local Argos. Thanks for the tip-off! (...) (22 years ago, 11-Jan-03, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: Received my RIS 2.0 - the two motors run at different speed! :-(((

First of all, let me say that I very much appreciate your deep insight and your math formulas, which I have forgotten years ago. :) After further testing and measuring, I found that the difference is much larger - it actually deviates a good one (...) (22 years ago, 11-Jan-03, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: MOC: German WWII halftrack and armoured car

(...) Because those AFOLs don't want to. In .space, people imagine militaristic futures and build warships; the violence of Star Wars (destruction of Alderaan, anyone?) and WWI (WWI is "a long way away from the horrors of modern warfare?" I never (...) (22 years ago, 11-Jan-03, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.off-topic.debate)

Re: I2C device for the RCX

Steve is absolutely right and what he said is exactly what I'd recommend. When writing for loops, you can do the same test as Steve suggested: running the loop x 1000 times and then beep. Divide the stopwatch time by 1000 and you have the timing of (...) (22 years ago, 11-Jan-03, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: I2C device for the RCX

Steve, Very good suggestions! (...) Bastiaan v.Kesteren, I second Steve's recommendation, using loops for timing between command segments. You will not get very far using BrickOS msleep because of the 1ms minimum timing. Also, you may find the (...) (22 years ago, 11-Jan-03, to lugnet.robotics)

First of all I'm posting for my father-in-law Duane Drumm. His arthritis is so bad today he can't hold a cup let alone type. He deserves all the credit for this MOC. Brickshelf folder is here: (URL) . Deep links start at: (URL) end with (URL) a (...) (22 years ago, 11-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)
