  Re: It's perfect!

(...) Weeelllll, technically, that's not right. All mammals have knees that bend in the same basic direction - as long as you have a consistent definition for a knee. as a matter of fact, all mammals have similar bone stuctures. if you compare a dog's leg and a human leg, you see that they both have knees, heels, and toes. the knee on a dog, like a human, bends forward. however, it looks like it bends backward.   RE: user created programs

(...) I'll jump in here. The two canted receptors at the front do indeed give a basic direction and range finding ability. The IR signal strength follows an inverse-square law. Double the distance from source to sensor and the signal is reduced by a (...) (22 years ago, 8-Jan-03, to lugnet.robotics.spybotics)

Semi-custom set added to my BL shop

I have added a customized 10014 caboose to my shop. I made the "lights" on the back really light up with LED's. See description and 5 pictures for more detail. It would be a great addition to any railroad! See if you can find the wires! (URL) (22 years ago, 8-Jan-03, to lugnet.market.brickshops, lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

(...) Me too! I think rubberbands are other of those few items that can be substituted with non-Lego materials... anyway, the only difference (I think) is where the rubberband (or string in this case) was manufactured. And Ross, about the steel rod (...) (22 years ago, 8-Jan-03, to lugnet.modelteam, lugnet.technic)

To get a PDA to interface to RCX is easy, i am right in thinking that TV remote is the same freqency etc as RCX?
