Re: MOCs - New Nano-Fig scale ships.

Not sure about mini-fig scale stuff right now. It's a little daunting when I see some of the absolutely amazing stuff posted here. I doubt I'll be creating any Capital ships in mini-fig scale, but I might do some of the Fighters. Andrew. (22 years ago, 6-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: MOCs - New Nano-Fig scale ships.

Thanks for your comments. Glad I haven't made a total arse of myself with my ships! Yes I do have plans to draw up a list of ships in each class - and how many of them survived the first few months in Nova Sector before the fleet was able to (...) (22 years ago, 6-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: New Poll

(...) You forgot one important answer, so I canot answer your poll at all: I build all stuff in 7 wide now, since that is my personal favorite compromise in running behaviour and look. Additionally 7 wide can still run among 6-wides. 7-wide = trains (...) (22 years ago, 6-Jan-03, to lugnet.trains)

Question on where best to post...

I have a question about the direction that the development of LDraw and its decendants are going... What forum would get me the best chance of answer? Thanks, Dwayne Miller Barberton, Ohio USA (22 years ago, 6-Jan-03, to lugnet.people.newbie)

Re: MOCs - New Nano-Fig scale ships.

Hey man. Cool stuff. I look forward to seeing more of your backstory and new events to come. It would be nice to see a fleet status section showing the names and current deployments of surviving or destroyed ships. The idea of a cut-off yet (...) (22 years ago, 6-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

(...) Hi Devin - Thanks for your enthusiasm :-) It's much appreciated. And well, we hope the magazine can be twice we said it will be ;-) Also, thank you to everyone for the positive responses. We have had an overwhelming number of requests for the (...) (22 years ago, 6-Jan-03, to lugnet.publish)

Re: [PRESS RELEASE] INTRODUCING BRICKS™ MAGAZINE - THE LEGO® FAN MAGAZINE.

As others have already stated, it's about time! I've waited for years for something like this. I've got cash in hand waiting to send in for my subscribtion. I don't care what it looks like, if it's half of what you say it will be like it's better (...) (22 years ago, 6-Jan-03, to lugnet.publish)

(...) personaly i dont think they will be large enough to build a rotary. this is mainly because the center point of the rotation gear is also in the same position as the couplers. this is at least in modern rotary dumps. a good solution might be to (...)   RE: A Generic Idea

Steve Baker summarized neatly: The big design issue is whether to have the brain near or far. If far, you need more communications bandwidth, but you can have a mongo brain. If near, you can minimize your investment in communications overhead, but (...) (22 years ago, 6-Jan-03, to lugnet.robotics)
