  Re: A Generic Idea

(...) There's a caveat you miss, it is limited using the forms of modulation that modems use (ie FSK derived). For example ISDN uses a different sort of modulation (ie Q-modulation) and it does 128k over the same phone lines. I use ISDN to connect (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: A Generic Idea

(...) Well, to find outline of objects you'd need a low-res (easy to simplify and automatically filters out irrelevant details), color (to avoid two objects of the same material getting their outlines fused together by the image processing (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: MOC: Starship Cygnus

That's a very unique shape. The interioir rocks, especially the bridge. I love the bridge... the seats and the railing and the tiles on the floor all make for an exceptional bridge. And the beds are really very nice, as well. Very cool! -JHK (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: MOC: Sunstreak Hoverbike

That's a very beefy hoverbike- I like the parts that stick out, such as the antennas and the two tiles up front. The color sceme is nice, too, along with the engine. Very nice... anybody gonna build a hoverbike starting pit? :) -JHK (Who is torn (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: MOC: Sunstreak Hoverbike

Thanks Andrew! The size just kinda grew out of using that funky twisted slope for the faring from the Naboo SE. These things are such a blast. Cheers, -G (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: TECHNIC IS NOT DEAD!!!

(...) This is very likely. :) However, I really needed to do a double take to identify this ambulance yesterday. It simply didn't stand out against the other traffic, the grey of the sky or the snow. Not nearly as much as I would think it should. I (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.technic)

  Re: LPub 2.1.0.3 released

I ran into the want for orthographic camera, with my pneumatic adding machine MOC, and made some discoveries. You can simulate orthographic images with a camera angle of 1. I tried using 0, but L3P silently ignores this and assumes you want the (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.inst)

  Re: My hoverbike.

That's a very cool use of the Slave I piece. Very nice shape around it, I particullarly like the engine section. The round sticking out bits have a nice feel. And the nose, is, well, nice! :) -JHK (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: MOC: Sunstreak Hoverbike

Thankye sir! To support the frame, it gets significantly less milage and lesser exceleration. It's not when you cross the finish line, it's how you look when you get there :) Cheers, -G (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: My new MOC : Medieval fortified town

(...) a town of that size and detail?? I like the raised ground level so you can have basements. Nice touch. Did you put duplos inside the ground or something? If you pull off a whole town of that size/detail, that would be amazing. e. (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.castle)

(...) "All ideas are stupid until someone proves they work." :D No, I've been thinking the same thing. (So it can't be stupid haha). A PDA with built-in webcam (and mike) + hotwiring an RCX input to a serial port on the PDA would probably be the (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.robotics)
