Re: [rtlToronto] rtlToronto/train4 Lego Train Show, January 18th,2003

(...) Please do! (...) At low speeds they'll be fine, but might have trouble on switches or where someone has a level crossing. But we should be able to build you standard train bogies. (...) If it's got a magnet, we can pull/push it. (...) Sounds (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: My hoverbike.

Cool Tim. Great move with the enclosed fuel cell. I like my lawgiverIII for that same reason. It's actually got something under the hood. :-) It'll be added soon. -Chris (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: MOC: Sunstreak Hoverbike

Hey, cool. But it surprises me that Toradoch Kinetics would be involved in such a seedy and underground thing as hoverbike racing. I guess companies go where the money is, eh? :-) This bike is really sweet. Big beefy design, and gotta love that (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: SW Mini Sets

Thanks Bob for the heads up. I've been reading about these mini Star Wars set on lugnet. I understand that this tie fighter set is only available thru promotional offers and are difficult to come by. I have seen them selling for more than $10. US on (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.loc.ca)

  Re: my first seed

Hey, that's nifty. I would have never thought to use that part as what is was meant to be - a base for something. :-) -Chris (...) (22 years ago, 5-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Have HoverBike, will travel. Build your own today!

(...) Thanks Gil. The Sedona was the last bike I built - I had some rough and tumble flying tanks, some elegant sleek ones. I wanted something that looked like it wasn't built from any sort of plans. I envisioned Dusty just slapping together (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

Re: Have HoverBike, will travel. Build your own today!

(...) Thanks John. I want to see what you come up with. Sure, change the power source. Hell, it's not like the guidlines for a hoverbike are carved in stone. Nothing would ever advance if kept the same as the one before it. Just so long as it's (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jan-03, to lugnet.space)

  Re: TECHNIC IS NOT DEAD!!!

(...) This is what I think of when I think of LEGO Technic models. This has a very realistic look to it. Very well done! Someone once asked me why I felt so strongly that the Jack Stone series was a bad move for the company. I told them that, "it (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jan-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.technic)

  Re: Cool Mukai MOC's

Hey, thanks for posting this Eric. I always enjoy looking at Mukai's stuff. He's got a very spindly style that looks really cool. -Chris (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jan-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.castle)

  Re: Japanese Fishing Village

Hey, this is pretty cool. Very elegant-looking, in a simple and clean sort of way. I like this MOC better than Himoda (which was awesome as well). Nice landscaping, except there seems to be a lot of straight lines, especially along the water's edge. (...) (22 years ago, 4-Jan-03, to lugnet.build.ancient)
