I duno... I fergot. Sorry. :( It was a long time ago (milage-wise). I didn't use that method of mutitaking anymore and I didn't save the old code. But, I don't think so, I can't imagine that would be my style. I would set a global variable from (...) (26 years ago, 12-Apr-98, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

Hi guys, I needed 16 digital outputs for my handyboard, so I put up a very simple expansion board the way Fred suggested in his handboard FAQ: I connected two more hc374 with their d-inputs to LCD-display's data bus (d0 - d7). (...) Yes, it is possible. It must be, 'cause I've been doing it. You simply need to download Julian's pcode_hb.s19 (rename your other one first) and put it in the IC31\libs directory (or whatever you call it). IC 3.1 ought to automatically load it (...) (...) this is correct... (...) but this is not. the Handy Board communicates with the desktop computer using the SCI: serial communications interface. The SPI is for high speed (up to 1 megabaud) sychronous (i.e., separate clock signal) transfer to (...) (26 years ago, 11-Apr-98, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
