  Re: FT: 2 5571s for 1 8880

(...) Dunno about anyone else, but I would look at the relative value of the sets, with the 5571 being figured not at the awesome clearance price you got but rather at its retail price. Even figuring the 8880 at $200 or so, which is what it usually (...) (26 years ago, 23-Mar-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  Re: NEEDED: 2x4 BRICKS!

(...) As long as the bricks you're putting on them are bricks (not plates), and in both measurements are multiples of 2, I think they work very well. That's what i recall from way back when 15+ years ago, anyway. Jasper (26 years ago, 23-Mar-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

  Re: FT: 2 5571s for 1 8880

Well, wow. Didn't expect that. I come back from Legoland, and have like 5 people willing to trade. OK, so anyone who has emailed me about this, I will get back to you today or tomorrow. Right now, I am fighting a MAJOR headache, and can't think (...) (26 years ago, 23-Mar-99, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)

Re: I have a page up showing the current status of my Lego Tantive IV!

(...) VERY nice! I like it a lot. Good imaginative use of pieces. I'm not sure about the scale, but it seems to me that it shold be pretty close to the scale of my ships. (I've never seen a picture of the Corvette next to the Falcon...) Good work so (...) (26 years ago, 22-Mar-99, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build)

Re: people i would most like to build with...

I have a page up showing the current status of my Lego Tantive IV!

Check it out at: (URL) model does need some refinement and in some areas it isn't finished, but the general shape has been defined. Help me figure out which of Karims models are on a similar scale. The M. Falcon of his is too small but I'm not sure (...) (26 years ago, 22-Mar-99, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.build)

  Re: Who built the AT-ST??

(...) Thanks! I've sent letters to LEGO before, and all I ever get back is a somewhat personalized form letter saying that LEGO won't accept outside ideas because of the legal issues. :( The model also uses too many pieces from too many different (...)   Re: Risking sounding greedy, but...

(...) June or July, I think. I just want to see pictures of them, now. I mean, really, this is getting absurd. Especially since everything in the sets is in the new trailer, so seeing them isn't going to be a spoiler in and of itself.... eric (26 years ago, 22-Mar-99, to lugnet.starwars)

  RE: Sonar Recentering Question

Just a suggestion but you could mount a Hall effect sensor somewhere near a rotating rounded part on the cage and glue a small piece of magnet to the rounded part. You could look for the pulse on a digital input. This way it would not add much (...) (26 years ago, 22-Mar-99, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
